Celebrating their 10-year anniversary, motorcycle brand bandit9 presented their latest futuristic model, the supermarine. its body references the graceful lines of leaping mobula rays, while its frame takes inspiration from the coral reef structurally-sound shapes.

the in-house tech team, comprising of aerospace, robotics, mechatronics and chemical engineers have applied the fundamentals of building a spacecraft into the supermarine in order to create a motorcycle impervious to elements.

I don't think I like it, but it's different and interesting, and better than all the faux cafe racers

Different, I don't like it.

Wot Cheesy said. I'd like to see what it's like to ride.

Looking at the 'seat', probably bloody uncomfortable. Would be like riding the FZ with the seat foam removed :)

But yes, I do like the lines, even if the 'designed as cross between a ray and a space ship' press nonsense makes me vomit. And "‘at the highest level of custom motorcycles, function is a sacrifice for beauty’ is cringeworthy nonsense.

That chain is going to be doing some strange things....

It'd be 'cleverer' if it used a hydraulic drive to the rear wheel instead.

I find the clear lack of underseat storage lamentable....

It seems to make more sense in the pics with someone riding it but it's really a styling exercise. It might get them design consultancy jobs with bike manufacturers who want eg to make electric bikes look different.
Quite good for what it is and what it's supposed to do.
