But just seen nice Chinese folk arriving. They're usually quiet :)
Chinese quiet! :o

I sometimes have to tell Mrs S L to stop shouting when she thinks she's just talking. :D

It all looked right, so a google on the company, the phone number etc and it transpired it's all above board.

So i rang them and checked it all out and i have a pension from 1999 that's valued currently at £60,000 LOL.

Nice.... result. I'm richer than i was this morning that's for sure.
Got all the paperwork through today. Figures were wrong, but in a good way. Nice.

Walking back from a friends place yesterday afternoon. Ok, too cold for some - about 13 degrees - but bright sunshine and just fine for walking in shorts and a strappy top :D :D

Nothing particularly spectacular, just blooming gorgeously awesome :D :D

The 'new' snow front - a new lift going in for the winter and the snow front has been remodelled :( I'm 100% unconvinced that it's a good thing/in the right place, but the powers that be must think so!! (I think that adding a new lift and a new kids travelator to the snow front will just create HUUUGE queues in busy times. And the remodelling to allow these two funnels skiers into small access areas :( :( Hey ho - at least they have flattened some of the dodgy approaches to Centre so even in busy times those should be goo. But they are the other side from the new lift & travelator)

Lighting the wood burner to test it after sweeping the flue and replacing some of the firebricks (helps that the weather is vile outside).

Fire hound is back.

So, you'd definitely need the Alpen smiley for this then!! (No idea who it is, but always makes me laugh and cringe equally!! LOL)
