Video Camera’s.
Never having owned one was wondering if anyone could recommend a slightly cheaper GoPro type action camera, there’s bloody hundreds out there but the reviews are all over the place.
Just after something to film my lads Trackday exploits, ( two wheel version of ‘Driving Miss Daisy’).
Would like to get some reasonable footage but doesn’t have to be amazing.
Cheers, Paul.

Re: Video Camera’s.
A lot of them are wide angle lenses, good for doorbells or dashcams but not so good for normal video. The resolution is often exaggerated, iirc marketers invented another form of HD that is lower res so look carefully.

I have an SJ4000 SJCAM which was great on the bike for trackdays. But I bought it bloody ages ago, so no idea if they are still ok!! LOL

Re: Video Camera’s.
I've got one of these. Problem has always been with fogging up in damp conditions. However, having seen on here, putting one of those anti moisture bag things could be the answer, if it would fit. Camera works fine.

Re: Video Camera’s.
Thanks again for the helpful advice, but as mentioned went with KFB’s recommendation and got a Olfi one.five black which has arrived.
Looks very well put together and comes with just about every accessory you could ever want, unfortunately it appears to be faulty out of the box, rear screen is just about unreadable, then comes back to life before going bad again.
Never mind, will chase it up on Monday and hopefully get things sorted before next weekend.

Re: Video Camera’s.
There are so many good deals around on older GoPro models, whether they're S/H or new "old" stock that I rarely look beyond them. When they got image stabilisation came along I just waited out a few model releases and picked up a Hero 7 Black to replace my Hero 4 - it was £150 and does everything that I want a camera to do. Quik software is brilliant, the wifi and bluetooth connectivity mean that I can edit on my phone very easily. No brainer.
