They might be zero hours workers, it's easy to not give a shit about an employer if they don't about you.

My daughter gets it at her work, they decide who is working when. If they book her a shift during school hours and she doesn't turn up she is marked down as a no show.

When I worked for Lucas Aerospace as a kid, office staff got paid for any sick day.
Shop floor only got paid if you had 3 days off. Guess what folk did if it was only a quicky sicky? Yup, 2 days on the sofa

Plans to build a bridge or tunnel between Northern Ireland and Scotland have been "put to bed", Northern Ireland's infrastructure minister has said.
