It's like 'water cooler moments', but different. Probably.

Relaxing a bit after a morning of training in taking Holy Communion in a High Church tradition. And getting a funeral for a travellers family sorted, will be over 200 in attendance at the Church and the cemetery. Going to be interesting! At least I don't need to take a Requim Mass!

One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.

They didn't have any black pudding or mushrooms either.. I don't normally eat beans but the plate would have looked pretty sad without them. I made up for it by going th The Real Patisserie at lunchtime. I have eaten most of it but will be back with a photo of what's left

Having drunk a couple of bottles of wine after spending the day fence painting, decking oiling and rebuilding the decking steps, I had pizza for tea with wine. Now lying in bed listening to Runrig on Amazon music.
Pleasant.

Car packed with robes, remembered by LFT box as well (lateral flow tests) and have suitcase by the door for journey to Rochester Cathedral for rehearsal and then lunch with the Bishop. Wife is coming, which is nice, and my training incumbent will be there for the lunch. Then off to a silent retreat till Saturday morning and ordination at 11am in the Cathedral!
Right now I am daddy, and taking my daughter to college so she does not have to stress about the crowded buses first thing in the morning. The next two days she goes in later, so buses are quieter, which works out nicely for her.

Bedlam has just ensued…
Roofer turns up to continue with roof replacement/repairs just as the builder and electrician arrive to start the garage build / disconnect current supply.
It looks like a transit dealership out there
Roll on the end of the next four weeks!!

Getting ready for bed after a night shift.
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

I love that feeling, getting into bed when everyone else has to get up and go to work!!
