Motogp Aragon

Post by Skub »

Not historically a good track for Fabio, but he says it'll be different this year.

Mav's first race weekend on the Aprilia, bets on that one? I just don't know. Maybe he'll come out all fired up,he has the talent for sure.

Rins is on form and likes Aragon, his teamate Mir could be there too.

Dunno about the Ducatis or the KTbooms.

It's pretty sad to think Mark Marquez probably won't figure much in the result, but he may surprise too.

The Ducatis will be fast as fuck on the straight but suffer on other parts and will pass and get passed by pretty much all other brands ...... especially Suzuki which seem to work well there> Fabio will be in the bun fight as always but the rest of the Yamaha's will be down field.

1 second is night and day though. It doesn't sound much but in that session, 1 second was the difference between 3rd and 19th for a lot of the session.

I know it sounds good saying he's 1s off, bit it's a lifetime in reality

Well,he made progress which is good. I think it was about a 3 second gap by the end.

Aye, deffo improvement.

But you're not a current MotoGP protagonist. Rossi ain't a benchmark for anyone coming into the series.

0.5 behind Crutchlow on the full fat bike and less than a second off Zarco who went through to Q1. The boy is learning as he goes on a Yamaha that isnt the best around that circuit as only Fabio is at the front as always and Jake is on the shopping spec bike

As for the Qualifying i wasnt surprised to see the Ducati's up at the front because with no other bikes around them they can show their top speed and allowed to run the lines they need but i doubt that will be allowed to happen in the race. The big surprise to me was the fastest in sector 4 which is the back straight and last corner wasnt a Ducati, it was Marc Marquez

No thoughts on the racing then fellas ?

I thought MotoGP was awesome, sure it was a 2 horse race, but what a race it was between them ! Fab stuff.

Moto2 was a little on the disappointing side

Moto3 was what moto3 is and a twist or 2 thrown in late on for excitement.

Spag A showed Vinales a clean pair of heels as i predicted... i don't/didn't see how it was ever open to debate. Not that Vinales did badly as such, he did how well i'd expect for a debut ride on a bike.
