Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello

Post by KungFooBob »

It's another teaser, but at least you get to see the bike...

Looks like it's got 'active aero' too!

Here's a static pic...

There's a rad, so it's water cooled. V100 suggests it's a 1000cc. If it makes a real world 120bhp, I reckon it'll be fun.

S'quite a nice looking bike that. The jury is out on the can though.

I like the looks of most Guzzis. Not that though. The fairing looks like a KLE500. [retches uncontrollably]

Actually. Lose the little fairing and NHS issue wing mirrors and I'm in.

Make it into a Moto Guzzi Speed Triple.

Looks like a whole new engine, the shaft is even on the wrong side for a modern Guzzi.

There's a slight whiff of TDM about it.

I still like it.

That looks so much better than the red effort.

The red bike looks like it's Honda made. An ST1100 Guzzi.

Sideways exiting exhaust is a bit odd....presumably ita got a big modern airbox under the 'tank' fed by the ducts by the lights.

I was wondering if anyone else had noticed the head is rotated 90 degrees!

Looks very weird indeed.

So if it's not a new engine it will certainly be heavily revised from before.

Looks like maybe it is only water cooled on the head (although the cylinder fins could be for show). The head is spun through 90° of course. Presumably the airbox is an inverted Y shape feeding both cylinders. Final drive is on the other side too as Bob says.
