Mrs had a hospital app at 10, so we got that out of the way and jumped in the hairdressers special and ended up in hawes via reeth and the buttertubs. Mrs then got a call from work saying she wasn’t needed tonight and did she want to book it as holiday.

So carried on and ended up at Lancaster via forest of bowland and Ingleton. Had a mooch round there and carried on ending up in Blackpool. Had fish and chips in Harry ramsdens, a go on the big wheel on the central pier and a drive through the illuminations. Haven’t been to Blackpool for years. Had a good time there today but the place ain’t aging well.

Yesterday, 5th September I went to Mehmet Gökmen's wedding.

47 years previously, I'd been at my own. :(

Had my third covid vaccine.
Biontech this time as it seem the UK aren't going to recognise the 2 Sinovac jabs I had earlier in the year. I'll have another Biontech jab in 3 weeks time and then I'll be able to get a covid passport thingy for if I come to the UK in Nov.

No reaction so far.

Donated another £50 to the physio for a 35 minute session and 3 additional exercises.

After last nights birthday celebrations to day I have ..... been hungover !!

First time I've had a bad hangover in longer than I can remember, still got a headache now at 5pm. I've been in bed all day, been sick, drunk 2 litres of water and taken pain killers!

Still last night was a good laugh and I didn't have anything planned for today so it's bearable :)

After my resort physio saying I should take a break from shoulder appointments, I saw the physio in the valley earlier and he's just done a course on shoulders!! LOL Soooo - instead of knee physio, we did shoulder stuff!! LOL

Interestingly, some things appear to have completely changed in the last couple of years (timescale from the physio) and all the work I've done to try and keep my right shoulder blade stable and not use it to move my arm, under instruction from various physios, has apparently been reassessed!! LOL So now there should be less focus on keeping the shoulder blade still and stable and more on movement of the arm! Lets see if this changes anything!! LOL

The joys of rural living!
If you let the bath water out (we have to when it gets too murky), the toilet bubbles back....

Solution....out in the garden, with a long stick, lift the vent off the Klargedter, and poke out the solidified plug of whatever...wait for sound of many gallons of bath/toilet water going south....

It is important to remember which end of said stick to pick up next time.

Sat here in my Da's house while a local charity strips the place of all they want.

I feel like a criminal.

Today I saw a guy in a suit. First time in about 2 years.

And, I saw a lady lucky lucky man. Is there a name change or summat?

Normally the girls do the hair beading stuff, but was strange to see 2 very shy girls selling the tat to punters outside the bars.

Dropped the dog off at the vet at 0900 as he had a small growth on his mouth to be removed.

By 1300 the vet called and its probably a cancerous growth so a lot more than we thought (650 quid) but they will remove it and see how he does. Came home tonight after picking him up at 1800 and he is attached to either of us permanently.

The removal seems to have perked him up and brought him back to a happy little dog rather than subdued as before. Time will tell if its worked or will come back again and we might have to face losing the little sod after 15 years

Washed the 3 huge outside tellies.
Cleaned the pool.
Jumped in with mask and sweeping brush and gave it a good scrub.

Had a swim.

Now chilling with a beer.

Air 28c
Pool 31c
Beer fridge 1c.

Perfecto :obscene-birdiedoublered:
