Wheeler dealers is back
Without Ant though who seems to now be carving his own career out...
We've got Elvis i think... Not watched it yet, but likely to do so.
Much prefer Gas Monkey though for my fix of car spannering.

Re: Wheeler dealers is back
Wheeler Dealers is, in my own humble opinion, one of the worst produced programmes on telly.
If you were to cut put the endless repeats of scenes, often in the same segment between adverts, then you'd end up with roughly 15 minutes of actual watchable content.
And don't get me started on Brewer.

Blundering about trying not to make too much of a hash of things.

Hate/love both WD and GMG in equal measures.
Content is generally fine, but why are car shows ALWAYS presented by such insufferable spanners?

Because they're trying to attract people who have no real interest in the topic but like "banter".
That series they had about the Brooklands Transport Museum made my toes curl both with the juvenile repartee and the woeful incompetence and ignorance of the so-called esperts.

Well how Mike Brewer has survived this long without his stones permanently shoed in, I'll never know.
And Richard Rawlings of GGD similarly, just seems to ponce around Yeehah-ing everything and crying out for one of his beers, while everyone else does all the work.

With a net worth of $18 million I reckon I might have a few beer minions on staff too.

Re: Wheeler dealers is back
I don't mind Mike at all.
I liked Ed and I liked Ant.
I've watched the dream car thing with Elvis and found him a bit character less.
I've watched the thing with just Ant building his dream car from scratch, he's given more room for his personally to really come out, he's very passionate.

I've not watched any of them in a while, but I found Bitchin' Rides to be better. The quality of their work is way way higher, as you'd expect when they've got a 2 year waiting list and a starting price of $250,000 per build. It's much more of a 'proper' programme with less American nonsense.

Actually if you're interested in egnineering rather than "amusing banter", Impossible Engineering and Impossible Railways are worth a look. Available on catch up free to air via UKTV.
