The RD is a bit of a tarts handbag, there are so many bits on it I don't like, but mostly it's too shiny, IMO they should look like they're being used.

I had two that looked in a similar condition in the 80s, they were worth about £300 each, now you'd get £3000 minimum for them - though I know a few people who wanted one in the 80s, bought one recently and were surprised by how crap they are compared with modern bikes.

That bike was only 6 months old and won races the next year. Went well but never cared how it looked.
