Spacers/ M10 bolts with large heads

On my bike project thread I (well Steve fitted a centre stand). Unfortunately turns out the stand bolts are about 2mm too high causing the stand to hit the exhaust.
What I need to find is either a M10 bolt which has a 2mm bigger head or some spacers - about 2-3mm wide which I can use to move the stand down a bit.

Any idea of where I can try and get this from. An online search did not reveal anything.

I bought some M6 and M8 spacers from eBay recently for mounting a screen on the Diavel ... but they were 3mm, 7.5 and 10 mm. 3 mm is 3 washers, right?

Yes, I guess I was just hoping for something more substantial and I will have to cut the new bolt slightly.

Do you just need a 2mm thicker head to the bolt? Socket head bolts usually have a thicker head than hex head. You can find standard drawings of bolt dimensions online.

I agree. The space is defined by the sidestand, which is a set width by design, the dimensions are, well, what they are. You can't make it wider, unless you cut it

The only thing I could see work is spacers on one side, but offset by a smaller bracket of the opposite side, which would move it by that distance either side.

Even having fitted it, I'm struggling to see how it can be changed

Could it be that the stand will swing up until it meets 'something', so what you actually need to add is a 'stop' of some type, such as a rubber block* on the frame.

* Otherwise, if the stand moves at all over bumps, you'll get a free gong if it's metal to metal

Unless there is a positive stop or limit on movement built into the stand, then just offsetting it might not help.

Sorry been busy at work. Here is the issue, I think the stand has multiple applications and it's apparently a known fault, sigh., one I didn't know about obviously.

This is how it should fit, but then runs the exhaust. On the plus side there is no way an aftermarket exhaust will work so that's saves a fortune lol

And a bug thanks to Steve for just figuring out how it fits
