Don't be silly, it's Nirvana that has all that lovely money that he wants a huge slice of.

"A landmark study that endorsed a simple way to curb cheating is going to be retracted nearly a decade later after a group of scientists found that it relied on faked data."

To be honest [sic] this didn't shock me as much as it should have.

Yes, of course. But I suspect that Nirvana have a heap more money than his parents do.

I can't help but think he's neatly encapsulating the very idea said album cover was trying to portray.

It's come to something that you have to bribe your staff to turn up for work - Amazon offers punctual staff £50 for turning up
Amazon is offering a £50 weekly bonus for permanent staff at some UK locations for turning up to work on time.
The reward is for people who have 100% attendance, excluding time taken off for sickness linked to disability and Covid.
Amazon said the enticement would help it meet summer and Christmas demand.
Clearly, gone are the days of having your pay docked for turning up late. Progress?

They might be zero hours workers, it's easy to not give a shit about an employer if they don't about you.Lutin wrote: ↑Thu Sep 02, 2021 4:53 pm It's come to something that you have to bribe your staff to turn up for work - Amazon offers punctual staff £50 for turning up

My daughter gets it at her work, they decide who is working when. If they book her a shift during school hours and she doesn't turn up she is marked down as a no show.
So is Amazon paying a bonus for agreed shifts or what they want to push people to do?

When I worked for Lucas Aerospace as a kid, office staff got paid for any sick day.
Shop floor only got paid if you had 3 days off. Guess what folk did if it was only a quicky sicky? Yup, 2 days on the sofa

You should be able to understand that being paid a “bonus” for not being late is the same as losing money for being late!

It looks like (un)common sense has finally prevailed - Northern Ireland to Scotland bridge plans 'put to bed'
Plans to build a bridge or tunnel between Northern Ireland and Scotland have been "put to bed", Northern Ireland's infrastructure minister has said.
Nichola Mallon said she was pleased to hear confirmation the plans had been shelved.
So, the Bozo bridge will never now be a reality.

At the time of opening, the Blackwall Tunnel was the longest underwater tunnel in the world. I bet that had its fair share of critics at the time.
Just sayin' like.
