Yup - there's a photo somewhere of a mate leaving a weekender on his Blade. He is 6' 3" ish and a big chap so the blade always looked like a dinky toy.

Add the camping luggage AND the two slabs of beer that hadn't been drunk through the weekend (think the weather wasn't great so we spent more time in the bar than usual!!) - awesome ability to pack and ride a FULLY laden bike!! LOL

At Le Mans, at least the guys unloaded the camping stuff (and put up the tents) before going out and reloading the bikes with some style and aplomb at the local supermarche!! LOL
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!! :bblonde:

Don't ask me - I am behind the camera :)

Although weren't stripy dress shirts with white collars and cuffs quite trendy once?

Nothing (well - maybe an Arial 3 ;) ).

All bikes are fun in the right places (some are terrifying in the wrong places).

Scariest 'bike' ever? My sister's Honda Express, on the A30 being overtaken by artics.

Anything that I cannot afford to pay for. I really don't like riding other peoples bikes, if it all goes Pete Tong it's a world of pain that could have been easily avoided.

That's the opinion of a mate of mine. He never takes a run on anything he doesn't own. He says,"sometimes you make your own luck".

Personally,I can rarely resist.

Those big adventure bikes from BMW and the like , mainly 'cos my legs are too short and I'd never be able touch the ground.

That and something with forward foot controls. Had one on loan once. Hated it. I really struggled to work out which way the gears went.

You're confusing it with Spa! The Bol was usually dry as it was down in the south of France back then.

I was there the same year as Spin was on about ...... it didnt just rain ..... it was too wet for Noah to take the Ark out of dock. We went as we thought it would be sunny in the south of France. Only year the Bol was stopped as it was too dangerous to ride and the camp sites were flooded
