Unusually for me, i'm very happy with it and i like it. Will give it another 30 mins later to confirm before being 100% with it.

Hope the GT air works for you I really liked it and would have kept it if the strap hadn't of strangled me.

Mine went back in the end.... i didn't like how short the fixing mechanism was on the straps, you can't really pull the helmet on properly.

Yes I noticed that. With the Shark I can grab a handful of strap and pull the lid down over my swede, it was a bit awkward with the GT Air. Pity as I liked the fit once it was on. The internal visor wasn't as dark or as long as the shark's either, but no idea if that would have been an issue as never used it.

Always nice when the firm pays for stuff you want and you can go high up the rangeNordboy wrote: ↑Thu Mar 11, 2021 4:01 pm Not strictly bought, but I'm now the recipient of a full Rukka Nivala Gore Tex suit (I can't do the whole pic thing yet)
Wore the suit out on the job bike and it was very nice indeed. Stupidly expensive but the quality is absolutely way ahead of anything I've worn previously, textile wise. I have 6 weeks straight of bike courses lined up, so it's going to get a fair few miles of use this year. It's made my BKS leathers a bit redundant I think.

I suppose the tax man buys mine now as i can write off all the cost of riding kit against my instructing business, hence the brand new Neotec2 i bought when i started while already having a year old Arai TourX4Nordboy wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 8:43 pmOnly been waiting 17yrs as wellBigyin wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 7:09 pmAlways nice when the firm pays for stuff you want and you can go high up the rangeNordboy wrote: ↑Thu Mar 11, 2021 4:01 pm Not strictly bought, but I'm now the recipient of a full Rukka Nivala Gore Tex suit (I can't do the whole pic thing yet)

Re: New riding kit, what have you bought lately and why?
Held leather trousers finally arrived, bearing in mind I guesstimated a size up there was no way my "fat" arse was fitting a size 50, so sent back and hopefully not a two month wait for the next size up.

I quite like the look of them to replace the ancient Triumph summer gloves I have, but the sizing looks weird. I normally buy a Large glove, but the sizing thing says I need a Small in this make. Let me know how yours fit.Potter wrote: ↑Fri Mar 19, 2021 12:19 pm I bought a set of Lee Parks gloves because the fella in the hat on Motolegends reckons they're the business.
