Looks like hit her, doesn’t it?He raised his hand to Rocha's motorcycle helmet and she bit his thumb.

The way I read the article and from the TV report last night its sounded to me like she attacked him and he raised his hand to fend her off.JackyJoll wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2024 3:52 amYorick wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2024 12:28 am She looks so peaceful and beautiful

The United States Justice Department has filed an antitrust lawsuit against Apple, accusing the tech giant of engineering an illegal monopoly in smartphones that boxes out competitors.
The lawsuit, filed in federal court in New Jersey, alleges that Apple has monopoly power and uses its control over the iPhone to "engage in a broad, sustained, and illegal course of conduct".

Pretty strong stuff from the DoJ. But Apple have had it coming with their predatory tactics.

Football shirt chaos and controversy....
England kit: Nike has no plans to change new St George's Cross design
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-68632034
People getting in a tizz due to the St. George's Cross not being red and white.
I think the bigger shocker is that, what is essentially a gym top, is being touted for £125.
I'm not averse to an over-priced and trivial purchase, but FFS, that's a piss take.

I kinda get, especially for older generations. You shouldn’t really mess with a countries colours. It’s a bit disrespectful. It’ll probably be more palatable if they do it to other countries as well. Biggest scorer here is, of course, Nike.

Re: In todays news...
The Cross of St George is the national flag of England. Quite what Nike are doing in trying to change the flag is beyond comprehension. But perhaps we shouldn't be surprised because this is the same company which promoted a man, Dylan Mulvaney, as a model to promote women's sports bras. If Nikes competitors have infiltrated and are now running Nikes promotion and advertising department then they are doing a pretty good job in sabotaging Nike.gremlin wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:03 am Football shirt chaos and controversy....

Re: In todays news...
I did wonder if they would be quite so free and easy in changing the colours of Ol' Glory on a USA soccer shirt. Can't imagine the gun-totin', truck-haulin' residents of certain southern states embracing that change.

Yebbut, most Yanks think Scotland is a small town just west Worscesteretershireham and doesn't have its own flag, so it won't even register.

Surely if you change the colour(s) of a named flag it stops being that flag? Or is that me being too literal?

Forced to go public when they'd rather have dealt with it privately and protected their children from knowing their mum was so ill. Shame on anyone that hounded them to go public.Yorick wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 6:03 pm Fark. It has no boundaries
