Found this on Facebook, interesting resolution to replacing Grimeca brakes which usually sit ahead of the forks

Been slack posting these from the other Sunday when I went to watch Tricky at Snetterton. Loads of nice bikes (and a couple of shonky Bandits  ) but just a small selection of the ones I liked best.

Then this Sunday I spotted this outside Sportsbikeshop in Harlow, cleaner than mine was back in 97!! But then I bet it's not owned by a skint Uni student.

Supposed to be a decent road bike, but I'd not want that 260kgs + weight off road.

He's done a few routes here and gonna take me along soon to see how it goes.
He's been riding enduro for 20 years but enjoys this.

But not gonna use it for his enduro business ;)

They're heavy but I don't think quite that heavy - the cooking model is 200kg & that one will be a bit more but I don't think not 60kg more?

Dunno man, that's wot google tole me.

The wet weight of the Yamaha XT1200Z Super Ténéré is 261 kg (575 lbs).
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Wet Weight: This refers to the weight of the motorcycle with all fluids (fuel, oil, coolant) and accessories.
XT1200Z Super Ténéré: This is a specific model of the Yamaha Super Ténéré, known for its adventure touring capabilities.
261 kg (575 lbs): This is the specific weight measurement in both metric and imperial units.

Out cycling this evening I passed this old boy stood by his bike eating a bag of chips.
As I passed I noticed the engine cases looked odd so went back for a chat.

A royal Enfield diesel. I really like it for being very different.

200 mpg but it'll take you a week to get there 🥳

Older brother has one in yellow & yes he is very different, ever since he was young we reckoned he must be related to the milkman, I'm seeing him in July will see if I can blag a ride on it but don't fancy donning his ancient helmet - probably the same one he's had since passing his test in the late 70's. His previous bikes include a Ural combo, Norton ES2 combo & some some of fibreglass bodied trike, so the RE is a modern wonder as far as he is concerned.

This was sat next to me whilst I was waiting for my bike to be serviced.

Not for sale and going on the cost of the service I think I understand why they're not desperate for the cash.

In the reception area that Mrs dB went to for work the other day 🙂

There was also one of the Long Way Down bikes & Peter Hickman's lap record TT bike. Quite some reception area.
