Also.. the testing level.

Uk - total tests 67m
France total tests 41m
Germany total tests 37m
Italy total tests 30m

Detected cases will of course show higher in a country testing twice as much.

And no, I’m not making light of it, just these “headline stats” like cases per 100k - are all but meaningless as comparisons - unless all countries are testing the same number of the population.

Ahh, to be fair as I started off In the UK that was the only bit I was zoomed right in on so I missed Portugal and Gibraltar.

They must be counting it differently eh? ;)

Who knows, there is no standard, but they aren’t testing much either. More tests = higher level of positive tests.

Until there are some standard metrics - these stats have to be taken with a large pinch of salt.

Excess deaths is possibly the only true identifier of the impact of covid - both via infections and secondary causes etc.

There's a good chance it helps purely because a lot of people are deficient? Once they have more Vit D then the body's systems work better?

Three times a day after meals is the recommended dosage.

Nero Newsolini just lifted the stay at home order across the entire State. I'm sure it had nothing to do with shutting down the biggest testing site in Califailure or the recent election... but we'll never know as they have decided the data is too complicated for the proles & will just confuse us.

Common sense prevails. If the parents fuck about, they'll have to take care of their brats.

I'm gonna throw this out there, at the risk of being demonised, but here goes.....

I reckon some of you's lot are either telling porkies or suffering selective memory loss. I went into the office yesterday and met up with some colleagues. When pressed, as is my wont on this subject, they all, bar none said they were adhering to lockdown rules, but with the caveat of, '...although I did see my >insert family member< on their birthday' or 'I had to pop round the parents' as they had a problem with t heir heating, but if I hadn't they'd have had have called British Gas anyway', etc, etc. This is the same for everyone I speak to. Now don't get me wrong, I ain't judging. Me and Mrs. G, have been looking after the in-laws as they're incapable of looking after themselves and social services are nowhere to be seen, let alone the GP, occupational health, etc.

So, 60% of you feckers are being honest, I'll give you that. I'd venture that maybe 10% may, by virtue of their circumstance be adhering, i.e., they're miserable sods who live under a bridge all year anyway. The rest of yers....fibbers and bullshitters, I reckon.

I can safely say, i can't recall the last time i spent any time anywhere near anyone LOL. The closest i get is the postman/woman.

I have had people twice come to my garage and stand at the door while i did work on their bicycle in the last 8 weeks. We've not even been shopping, but i did get a carton of milk in the village shop the other day.

I've certainly not 'popped to see...' anyone at all at their house/cafe/work, etc.

We're keeping to the rules. We eat out most days for brekky/dinner. No bars are allowed to have folk inside and I feel safer outside anyway. Only 4 per table.

But, too many staff are kissing and hugging mates as they arrive. We've knocked a few off our list now.
