Can you not see that you're not actually posting anything to benefit the forum now? To enhance discussion? To bring informative and useful content. A forum by definition is a form of discussion.

Harsh as this may sound, if we were to do a ranking system on the forum, you'd be the spammers who've only ever had their posts deleted.

It may be. With a smidge more info not the one liner heavily laden with sarcasm and lining up the writer for posting more 'stuff' that doesn't exactly inform.

I can't work out if you are actually Mr Angry from the 80's/90's or if you are really on a perpetual wind up to see if you can wind up everyone else online

We weren't told more than we now have Delta Plus to deal with, which is apparently a mutation, but not one that warrants it's own designation as such. Apparently the media doesn't have much interest in it beyond stating that it exists & is spreading. It's 12.20pm here now & the telly has been on that same channel since 8am (when they mentioned it). It hasn't been mentioned since. They run non-stop news from 5am until 4pm except for a one hour break at 2pm for Jerry Springer.
I'll be sure to watch their 3pm broadcast as that's the hour when they bring up all sorts of fearmongering (yesterday it was one person has West Nile Virus, some chipmunks had been found with Plague (in a different State) & two people had contracted typhus in LA from handling a dead rat) & other meaningless nonsense that actually made me laugh when the prompter reader suddenly realized what they were being told to say.

People are responsible for their own emotional reactions to outside influences. If someone gets wound up, that's on the windee, not the winder (according to my PTSD counselor).

Daughter caught Covid this weekend, she works in a hotel restaurant and had PCR test on Monday that showed positive, now has flu like symptoms and loss of smell. She is 23 and was only a week away from jab number 2 :(

My niece (30s) and her family (teens) all caught covid recently. She suffered badly enough, not hospitalised, but has recovered with the only lingering impact the loss of taste and smell. Her partner the same. The youngsters have brushed it off as if nothing has happened.

It's not harsh.

"stop posting the same random shit"
"stop posting the same shit"
"post something else"
"try joining in"
"stop posting this"

... Take a day off.

I can only mention it so many times in so many ways. This is a discussion forum, not a soap-box. I don't want or need random things like Irie used to do and has now stopped where a load of crap is copied and pasted with no user input, i also don't want the same repetitive rubbish to provoke arguments (discussions are different to arguments) and i certainly don't want something posted time and time again that has no actual function or purpose.

I'm a simple boy, if people don't want to join in, then that's fine... But i'm not having people making the rest of the forum misterable.
