'Work'?

We've been around this before:

- Vaccines won't stop you contracting it
- You may be asymptomatic if you do catch it
- Vaccines won't stop you passing it to others
- Wearing a mask can reduce the likelihood of someone contagious spreading it to others (whether or not they are vaccinated)

So, if you catch it but, because you're not wearing a mask, you spread it to others, doesn't that make you responsible?

Only if you read the media you're choosing as you preferred media. If you read the opposing media, masks do plenty.

It's a question of belief, you've picked your side because it suits your needs, your wants and you can mouth off at the opposing side. Enjoy

No, the boxes actually state they're no fucking use, not the media. These are the ones being handed out to Govt employees (including health care workers)

So much for the latest *mandate*
Is it really that much of a hardship to put a paper mask on while mooching round a shop indoors? Really?

I do agree that the usefulness of masks is debatable, but even so, is it really that hard?

Given that it says (paraphrasing) "This product is fucking useless" why bother with what is nothing more than an exercise in futility? It's about as useful as prayer, it does fuck all for anyone except make one person feel better about doing nothing.
& as of this morning, the CDC is still saying "don't bother".. Are we now supposed to NOT follow the science?

According to LA Dept of Public Health I can merely step across the county line into Kern County (as I did yesterday) & be immune. They must have used some special paint for the stripes along the middle of the road.

Hey, I've answered your questions (more than once), with linked sources from both sides of the Atlantic, on effectiveness of vaccines and what current advice actually is.

Last time you ranted about CDC and Fauci giving different advice, I easily found quotes showing they weren't.

Now you're changing what you're ranting about, now it's the effectiveness or not of masks.

Note how the box only mentions contracting and says nothing about spreading.

I guess all them surgeons are just fucking around with their disposable masks.

Is that really the reason you don’t want to wear one? Or is it that it suits your political leanings to try to make a point?

Ps, the reason the mask box says that is because of the US legal system.

See my previous post. You can either:
a. Believe what you want, or
b. Do the research, look for unbiased sources, then believe what you want.

Actually I'm covered by at least 3 of the CDC exemptions. Fuck all to do with politics.

Merely paraphrasing what it says right there on the box.

You found posts from different days where their advice coincided. Ferinstance, Today Fauci is saying wear a mask, CDC is saying "don't bother" (at least that was the position at 11am)

Odd that you can quote that from memory but didn't post it at the time.

And my memory is that, following your post, I soon found another source from the previous day.

Surgeons. In surgery. Dealing with open wounds. And even then its more traditional than evidential.

Think about what you just posted... How does the virus know which way to travel through a mask? According to you, I can breathe it IN through the mask, but not OUT.... what happens if I wear the mask inside out?

It's to obstruct direct air flow. But you knew that, didn't you.

Didn't you?
