I never want to go back to the office and have made that clear to everyone at work, I'm happy as a pig in shit working from home.
I liked occasional drinks at work but was always a bit annoyed it ate into my time and was usually in too big of a crowd, now I'm rarely bothered if I need to work late because I haven't had to commute.
I have plenty of video calls with colleagues and clients so I guess I never got to miss talking to people.

As for temporary ...do you remember 3 weeks to flatten the curve ?have you seen the latest ‘science’ that vaccination alone won’t stop the spread ? ...I suspect we will still be getting locked down periodically and forced to wear masks and stay away from friends and family for many more years yet ..
No, they're not. They're allowed out to exercise, no-one is forced to stay at home, people can go shopping, people can go walking, cycling etc.

Locked down isn't locked in...
Clearly you don’t understand the definition of CURFEW...

Could this fucking needy woman not just have been a little magnanimous in a time of crisis rather than wasting everybody's time on a judicial review.

I've loved being back at work. After practically being at war with my employer over gradings and job descriptions, I never thought id say that, but our SMT accepts they lost and have moved on and so have I. Forgot how much I love my job TBH.

A lot of people wouldn't come back due to risks on public transport etc, but as I ride in and work alone, I was quite happy to. Turns out me and a few others who voluntarily returned are to get some financial token of appreciation in our pay packets this month! Seems a bit odd to be throwing away money when they are desperate for income and were only saved by the furlough scheme? :wtf: Probably only a tenner or so? :D

Some of the girlies here seemed to have missed out on a lot of outside exercise.
27c today and many in their skimpy outfits. Some outfits seem to have shrunk, a lot ;)

Well, I'm suffering from the blues again. With the UK threatening to put France on a 'red list', the people I do see (not often, but at least there have been a few to chat with up here) are all planning to leave for the uk this weekend to avoid any restrictions of a red list

We are looking as if we'll go into lockdown in the next couple of weeks. The GP up here thinks two weeks, I reckon it'll be after the easter holidays and a local friend (british) thinks this weekend.

It all sux big ones. Here's hoping the measures will still allow for classes to happen as I am half way through a course that means I get to go to the valley a couple of times a week. Will suck if that gets canned :( :(

It's really hard to keep smiling at the moment

Just heard my super fit 25 year old nephew just caught it.

He's an officer in the navy and him and a colleague were due to join a boat on a long trip. Told to be careful.

Pal's g/f caught it, passed to b/f and onto nephew.

Now whole boat event cancelled.

From tmrw we are introducing really strict rules. Covid cases went berserk over Xmas and they scared it'll happen again over Easter.

Can't even have the lads round to watch the MotoGP races :(

And lots of folk have to leave the island before end of March to avoid and penalties for staying over the 90 days allowed. Paying big money to comply with all the UK rules and requirements.
