Re: 2020 Moto GP world champion
All Mir needs to do now,is keep on doing what he's done all season. Learning, improving, yet managing to be consistent. The rest of them are blowing hot and cold too often.
Fabio has lost the plot,Dovi's season gets worse every round,Morbidelli is a winner one week and nowhere the next. Rins was unlucky with injury early on and Vinales has plain just shit the nest.
Even with double headers at the same circuit,it's not a given to get the same riders on the podium. All the while Mir plugs away playing the long game and gathering the points.

It does look a bit like when he was the new boy with no expectations and pressure he could smash it out the park, as soon as he become a real title contender it looks the pressure has done for him.

Looking at the form of the non Suzuki lads, there's not much for Suzuki to worry about. The Yams were all shit at Valencia1 so can't see much improvement as they are all on shitty old motors.
There won't be team orders at the big S, but there'll be massive orders not to knock each other off

So basically, if Mir can put it on the top 5... he's almost there. Which when you look at his results, is far from unlikely.

Mir 2020. Confidence boost for next year too!

The boy did what he needed to. That pass on Aleix got the ticker going - just because of who it was - but it put him in such a comfortable position.
How about that last lap as well?!

Great last lap dice with Franco and Jack, you could see they both enjoyed it too.
A big achievement for both Mir and Suzuki. I bet Morbidelli wants to hang onto the 2019 Yamaha, man the rest of them are well lost.
Sam Lowes showed great grit in doing as well as he did,who know what will happen in the last round.

Suzuki can make a clean sweep with Manufacturer's prize just a whisker away. They've already won the team prize

Yup, what a turn up- I'm wondering what odds we would have got on that at the start of the season, but whatever, it's a good end to a great season all things consideredYorick wrote: ↑Mon Nov 16, 2020 5:11 pm Suzuki can make a clean sweep with Manufacturer's prize just a whisker away. Re: 2020 Moto GP world champion
Apparently all the jurnos handed in a Top5 for the season, not one of them picked Mir
Re: 2020 Moto GP world champion
Wasn’t just the journos, they did the same game with Rins, Marquez, vinales, Rossi, Miller, Pol and Quarteraro ...... none had Mir on their top 5 list , not even Rins
Ironically how many of them made the top 5
