Just the vanilla stainless, black face
Have you tried one on, or bought online?
Tried one last year when I bought the Tudor. I promised myself one this year.
It's bought from, and coming via, my local jeweller, not from a High Street chain. It will go to them, they'll give it the once over, complete the registration and forward it to me. Courier and insurance paid by them.
That video is about manual winds, moff is buying a coaxial (presumably). They're slightly different cases, the crown and buttons are more recessed on the manual for example, I imagine there are other differences too due to the different movements. I wouldn't be surprised if they're basically different watches with the same aesthetic but that's just based on external observation.

Thats a coaxial with date etc, if you said Vanilla I would have thought you mean the manual wind. Wrong pic or wrong description?
TBH it took me a moment to notice it was the CoAx. I looked at it and thought "that doesn't seem right" but missed the bloody obvious text on the face.
Right watch. Wrong assumption I meant it's not a Moonwatch/DSotM/Heritage/other.
And yeah, it's the coax 3330. The new one has a 3861 (I checked).

I like it but not sure if I like it enough.....
I'd be pretty happy wearing that, but then I like white/panda faces.
Isn't that a limited edition?
I do like it, perhaps if I could chip him down a few quid I'd go for it - what he wants is it a bit too close to RRP but sure he'll move.
Yes, it is a limited edition...

Look on Chrono24, take an average price and offer him that, or buy one from C24 if you really want one.
Depending on the model it can take some time for Omega watches to appreciate in value, but many do.

Yep, that's my normal approach.
Took my Seamaster about 15 years to be worth more than i paid for it, seems to be the norm for Omega products.
I don’t get why mass produced “luxury” watches that are still made go up in value. The specials, really rare etc., I get. But why does a speedy etc. go up in value when you can still buy them?
Cause the retail price goes up arbitrarily I'd guess. So long as Omega keep charging arbitrarily more for them - which they seem fond of - then second hand values will follow.

They get replaced by newer, better versions. Newer, better isn't always what it's cracked up to be - see the comments about the new Speedmaster above.
Then there's availability. Rolex are well known for 'rationing' their popular models, so if you can get one its resale value will be more than Rolex' RRP.
Some of the sports models from some of the higher end brands and any of the Rolex sports models are in high demand and they don't make enough to satisfy that demand, especially AP Royal Oak or PP Nautilus - so even though they're expensive (relatively) they are actually a soft way to enter the watch market, knowing that if you do manage to source one you'll get your money back and probably more if for some reason you decide not to keep it.
Imagine a brand of motorbike that you could buy, use and then be guaranteed to sell it for more than you bought it for.
You'll be regretting that when you need to spend an extended period in low gravity.
Well actually no you won't, 'cause NASA's own tests later showed automatics work just fine in space. Inertia doesn't dissapear. The Pogue was the final proof.
Good thing they had them mega expensive custom made pens though!
I don’t regularly wear a watch to work anymore, I’ve been going on my bike a lot and I don’t like the way it pinched under my leather jacket and I just got used to not wearing one. But today I went in the car and this thread has given me a bit of renewed interest, so I dug something sporty out...

I'm not a massive rose gold, or whatever gold Rolex call it, but I'd absolutely love a Daytona is that scheme.
