Avatars...

Post by ZRX61 »

An 8Kb size limit would be an improvement over the 7Kb limit (says the guy who tried about 20 different avatars, all of which were 8Kb...)
Those who possess real knowledge are rare.

Those who can set that knowledge into motion in the physical world are rarer still.

The few who possess real knowledge and can set it into motion of their own hands are the rarest of all.

Please?

it was actually 8199

I've upped it to 9199.

However, being nice costs nothing... I'm not doing all this just out of the goodness of my heart.

Oh, yeah i am actually :)

There is a technical answer: resize the one you like to make it smaller.

Paint is free as well as paint.net what both let you resize.

Just tried again.

Original attempt had it telling me all the avatars I tried were 8Kb & they had to be no bigger than 7Kb.

Just tried the exact same avatars again & now it's telling me they're all 9Kb & they have to be no bigger than 8Kb. Not sure how they all managed to get bigger over the space of a few hours.

& you would have got a *please* if I had asked you to increase the size of the files allowed, but all I did was make a statement. Then you chose to make the allowance bigger out of the goodness of your heart. :)
