Re: Trader wants money after the deal was done
This “professional” motor trader has bought an old car, from a private seller.
Now he’s moaning about it or just lying about it. Who fucking cares!

Re: Pension stuff, how's it all looking ? HAve you prepared ?
The article says 90% of the pension members agreed to transfer to the private pension following assurances from the Government. I wondered what the other 10% did?. The AEAT staff were encouraged/reassured by their own Government to transfer! - which is a bit different). AEAT was privatised in 1996,...

Re: Pension stuff, how's it all looking ? HAve you prepared ?
Well unless the pension collapses, I know some people in Carillion who had massive pensions and I think they lost loads. I left the atomic privatisation triumph that was AEAT PLC in 2001. Their pension scheme collapsed in 2012. It was rescued by a Govt scheme for such things, but everyone’s pension...

Re: Pension stuff, how's it all looking ? HAve you prepared ?
My company pension from 1974 to 1989 was invested with Equitable Life. That ended well... Bloody hell! The Coalition Government then passed the Equitable Life (Payments) Act 2010, establishing a £1.5 billion compensation scheme for affected policyholders. This was significantly less than the £4 – £...

Re: BLACK PUDDIN’: AN IRREVERENT SUZUKI GS1200SS BY STICKY’S SPEED SHOP
I used to own a Honda CB77. It had a fuel tank that went vertically at 90 degrees from the seat for 3 or 4 inches before tapering off. I vividly remember seeing a photo of two indents in a CB77 tank that precisely corresponded to testicular imprints. That gave me food for thought. Triumph dropped t...

Re: Israel's war with Hamas (and other Iran proxies)
What are the information sources which lead you to conclude that Hamas is no longer a "viable military force"? You really do just follow the Israeli/Zionist playbook, don't you? Ignore the genocide that the IDF are visiting upon the Palestinian people and big up the bogeyman Hamas. Divers...

The fuel filler caps would rip your knackers right off if you ran into the back of someone. There is something 1980's Performance Bikes Special about it that I like, I'd never consider owning such a thing, or any of the Spondon type bikes that used to appear on that page, but it's definitely got th...

Re: Israel's war with Hamas (and other Iran proxies)
Couldn't agree more. Does that give such an armed force carte blanche to rain down ordnance on civilians, hospitals etc. when there is no opposing military force? There is opposition, as you know, even if they are a hapless rabble of lowlifes. After all, who is holding and abusing the October 7th h...
