Re: Mofo's 690 Duke

Slow is the least of your worries - your physique is like mine. Lockdown init or the stripes  Although to be fair I don't think 13.5 stone is bad judging by most of my mates Same weight as me, I bet you're taller than my 5'8" Not a huge amount! Maybe an inch  My jacket still fits.......

Re: Mofo's 690 Duke

Woke up at 7 yesterday had breakfast and headed out to Burnham on Crouch. Never been before but the route from mine was great. Nazing, Epping Green, Kelveden Hatch, Stock, Hanningfields, Woodham Ferrers and Burnham. Unlike the route TomTom likes to take me to Maldon this one had roads which had a fa...

Never been, looks good though.

Did consider the National Motorcycle Museum as that was 30 mins from our hotel in Hinkley, but as somewhere to spend a Thursday evening Bournemouth seemed a better shout.

Re: That was bloody close.

Glad you're OK that's the main thing  Same happened to me in 2007. I spent my 30th birthday in Welwyn hospital with 3 bust ribs, a fractured humerus and nerve damage that lost me a working left hand for 9 months. Overtakes made me nervous for a long while afterwards I can assure you! Hope t...

That is a bit of a shit isn't it! Tell their booking people as you might get some freebies! It was the main booking person that told me! The email chain goes back 2 years and lots of emails booking, re-booking etc. Seem to recall we booked June 2020, changed to June 2021, then changed again to Sep ...

Re: Marc Bola: Middlesbrough defender charged by FA over nine-year-old social media post

I'm glad social media wasn't around when I was 14. The Inbetweeners was like a PG version of my school days.

Having said that this is as close to putting up personal opinions on social media as I get.

Re: Mofo's 690 Duke

we are going for a VIP tour of the Triumph factory. Or we were :angry-cussingblack: Triumph just emailed to say they are cancelling as someone has Covid. Looks like I'll be re-scheduling for the 4th time :hmmm: Wondering if I'm ever gonna get to go. I know there is nothing that can be done as it's ...

I'll take it off your hands as a favour, you won't even need to pay me  Tbh, if I'm not getting on with a bike after a month, it's going. Simple as that Think I've been lucky, even the Firestorm which was my least favourite bike probably took me a year or 2 to give me the wondering eye

Re: BMW Vanos

Dunno about Bimmer's as I ain't got one. But the the Mr's Citroen C4 (same engine in some 1 series and Mini's) had the same thing go and my Hyundai i10 also had them go. Pain in the arse. VVT is great till it plays up and then you can get all sorts of running issues.
