Re: Mod 1 - failed
Some people only want a > 125, they have ridden their little bike for years and still have to do the cbt repeater. It's absolute bollox.
From how most of the local food delivery riders demonstrate their skills, even that one day basic stuff isn't sinking in.
eg Riding around roundabouts, and ...

Re: Mod 1 - failed
You only have to watch the videos of the people trying to go around the bends of the Stelvio to see how often they get it wrong. They often pop up on my Insta gram for me to have a chuckle. The riders get really pissed off with themselves lol

One for anyone who intends to either feet-doen paddle around, or three-point turn.
:D

And some people think it's not cool to be able to do that.
We used to use a camber far less than that, and it caused no end of difficulties for some. Admittedly, it ...

Re: Would you have an electric car if you had the money for a new car and were in the market for one?
Well, I just sold my milk float. I have to say it was a faultless car for me to own and the whole Tesla experiance was a very enjoyable one.
FWIW, I sold it through CarWow and it was a pretty good experiance and it achieved £1800 more than WBAC offered.
I take it, the Tesla was a ...

As I have an inside seam to match that of a 2 yr old child, when I was on the big job bikes I'd be shitting it every time I had to u turn one, it was a real mental thing. Have I dropped bikes in work, bloody right, plenty. But then when I went on the driving school and did my instructors course I ...

Full tear or partial?
I partially tore mine, after a car pursuit and a foot chase (I really should have known better tbh!!).
It took just over 2 years to get it sorted, I had rehab and then multiple rounds of shock wave therapy for mine. I still don't trust it 100% though.

I guess we've all missed the opportunity to post the sun and beer pics and boasting about how it's 8-10 degrees warmer here than in Tenerife haven't we?Yorick wrote: Sun Jun 21, 2026 10:16 pm It got a bit warm and you're all scared of dying

Re: The journey from small guy to teenager...
So today was approx 15 laps on tricky tech and steep Pontypool
Laps 1-6 were on the Atherton running 4 laps on 65mm rise bars and 2 on 35mm bars.
The 35mm were preferred.
7-14 were on the Session, all were on 35mm bars.
15 was back on the Atherton to sanity check results.
"Feels so fast through ...

Re: Ear plugs
I'm lucky in that I had moulded earplugs bought for me every 5 years when in work. So I have 5 pairs in total. What is interesting is how different they all are as your ears are constantly changing shape and size. One pair I have are really uncomfortable now in the left ear when I wear them for long ...

And yet somehow all of you find your way into a World Cup thread to tell us time and time again you don't like the sport.
I don't like broccoli you know, I hate it and I'm never eating it again. I may start a broccoli 🥦 thread actually
How dare anyone not like the beloved national sport eh ...

Re: They tried to nick my bike last night!
I really don't want to bash the shit out of anyone. What I want is a police force that is resourced enough to respond to such crimes. Simple fact is, if I hadn't put a stop to their attempt, they would have continued and had my bike away. Now I know they come armed, if they come back, I have to go ...

Where though? I work in central London with people from all the home counties and not one of them doesn't have increasing crime where they live. The Bally Boys on their surrons etc are in most big towns now.
We do have plans to eventually move to a small town out on the north Essex coast ...

Dislike football intensely. And I saw a clip on social media of some bloke get a yellow card for diving and rolling around on the floor like a 2 year old.
So that totally reinforced why I stopped watching it. I have the intention of watching zero games. Fucking overpaid prima donnas.

Difficult to know their business plan and how many units they need to shift to make this profitable, but I can't help but think they'll hang around for a couple of years and then go bust?

Re: We buy any house
I think the general thing with these companies are that they'll only end up offering you 60-70% of the value of the property.
After all, they don't really want your house, they want to make money?
