Re: UEFA Euro 24

England started the competition awful. However I think they gave the final a good effort but best team won. To be honest as a lifelong England supporter there was much to criticise but we've managed to reach 2 finals and a semi in the last 3 tournaments which going back 10 years I'd never have imagi...

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?

Just remembered that on my ride I passed a bloke coming the opposite way on a 916/996/998 whatever it was. This was at about 7.45 near the Rodings. It looked, sounded and smelt proper. I noted especially the smell as it made me realise they really are a classic bike now! I'd not seen one in ages. Th...

Re: This time next year, President Trump moves back into the Whitehouse...

If it was a set up you'd have thought they would use someone who could shoot! 120m is fuck all distance. Even in cadets we'd start at 300m and work out to 800 without scopes. And if it was the deep state, give him a Barrett and even if Trump wore a bullet proof vest it wouldn't have mattered and you...

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?

No pics as the weather was forecast for showers from 11 so I didn't waste time for pics. Lovely run up to Heybridge, Abberton, Tiptree to Kelvedon for breaky and coffee before home via Chelmsford and the Rodings. Good 115 miles with some warm weather for a change. Hasn't rained yet but lots of dark ...

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?

I'd have to emigrate to more temperate climes. :P That's the thing, I'm a bit of a fussy bugger. Ideal riding temp for me is 15-25c. I need to find somewhere that's those temps 9 months of the year with not loads of rain and I'd be laughing. Above 25c is too hot for bike kit, that's shorts and flip...

It's been over 110deg for the past week. Forecast for the 21st is 108. I'd have to emigrate to more temperate climes. :P That's the thing, I'm a bit of a fussy bugger. Re: Bull-it jeans.

I've got some TCX bike trainers but only tend to wear them to the office or somewhere I'm gonna be off the bike for a long time. Other than that I wear my TCX touring boots, just feels more normal.

Re: Bull-it jeans.

I've looked again and actually there are some called straight or easy - but I can't see the leg of the jeans going over a 'proper' boot! I wear AlpineStar race boots, so they are quite chunky. Can't imagine that the jeans in the pics would be wide enough Don't know how the women's ones fit but the ...

Re: Bull-it jeans.

Covert Evo AAA jeans in black. Got them as in a sale. They are the same as the above but even lighter weight. The above had a mesh lining throughout, these don't they are just like normal jeans. This means the Evo flow more air through them which is good in summer/sitting in the office but I suspec...

Re: Bull-it jeans.

Too late as you've ordered. But I've got 3 pairs of Bullit Jeans. SR6 - got years ago bit big and bulky don't wear them anymore but only due to getting the below. Covert AAA jeans in blue - These are the Icon but with extra 'Lite covec' layers in the danger bits. Excellent jeans. I had to size down ...

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?

This 'summer' is definitely curtailing my riding and not only me judging by lack of riding posts generally. Last week my mates & I were commenting about this. It's just not been happening this year. IF we had a decent Spring I would have been camping in Scotland in May,it never happened, also we ...

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?

This 'summer' is definitely curtailing my riding and not only me judging by lack of riding posts generally. I had a heavy night Friday so Saturday's rubbish weather didn't bother me too much but I couldn't go out early Sunday which was the only small window of good weather before a late morning mons...

Re: Who Will You Vote For?

I think the result tells the same story that 1997 and 2010 did. Basically the country trundles on with whoever is in charge until people get (more) pissed off with them and hoof them out. They'll go with the oppo until the same happens 10 years or so later and vote them out. With net (legal) immigr...
