Re: Worrying noises coming from the loft...rodents!
I have the blocks so will put them up there tonight, I'm ordering some grain today and will stick that up there when it arrives. The little bastards sounded like a Slipknot concert at 5.05 this morning right above where my bedroom window is.

Re: Worrying noises coming from the loft...rodents!
There will always be lots of them. Use Ruby Grain poison and keep putting it down until they stop taking it. We had a ton of meeces in the kitchen loft recently and resorted to poison instead of our usual traps approach. They got through two full Chinese takeaway tubs of the stuff in 24 hours 😱 - c...

There will always be lots of them. Use Ruby Grain poison and keep putting it down until they stop taking it. I've got the blocks at the moment but can grab some grain if needs be. Not put it out yet as stuff on tonight but there's 10 traps in the loft so not like I'm letting em off. Found a long ar...

Re: Worrying noises coming from the loft...rodents!
Poison is the answer for mice. They are greedy buggers and readily eat it, and IME die quietly and cause no problems. Small and they desicate rather than decay. Rats are a bigger problem, they are cautious about new food sources, and they can smell while they rot. I was a bit worried as caught a fi...

Re: Worrying noises coming from the loft...rodents!
Holy thread resurrection! Week ago Sunday heard some scratching in my loft. Stuck a couple of rat traps I had in the garage up there and caught a field mouse by the following morning. Now I knew it was mice I stuck the 6 mouse traps I had in the garage up there too. Speaking to my neighbour, turns o...

Re: Barcelona MotoGP
Not great racing but glad Martin won, sadly likely to be his only title but let's be honest one is pretty good! Pecco was the best example of a sportsman I've seen in a while. Next year will be interesting as it looks like Marc and Pecco are far from mates. There was a respect between Pecco and Mart...

Re: Oil,oil, oil. I thought it was me.
Dunno. My GSXS had Silkolene semi synth from the dealer, I used Castrol power 1 fully synth when I did the oil change in Aug. Noticed no difference to the gear change which is buttery smooth on both oils but I think that's a Suzuki thing.

Re: Yamaha MT-09 SP
I know it's standard to recommend your own bike. But I rode the MT09 Gen 2 and there was just something off about it handling wise. It just didn't flow at all. I wondered if it was just me as Mags rave about the MT09 but my brother tested a brand new Tracer GT in August of this year and he found it ...

Re: Leccy or ice ???
People sometimes ask me why I didn't choose a "family car" on the scheme at work. My car fills a parking space and can seat 5 adults :wtf: It's just not an SUV. I know. I have a Mazda 3 and it was perfectly fine with 2 adults, 2 older kids and a weeks worth of luggage to Dartmouth. Nice a...

Re: Leccy or ice ???
Corvette for me. The Lotus looks like a Toyota but won't be as well made. I despair at the ever increasing size of cars. Now my son is at high school and I have to do the school run as no direct public transport from our village, about 70% of the cars are fucking MASSIVE, and 90% of them have 1 adul...

Got the 30th Anniversary of Troublegum by Therapy? in Nov, should be a good one No pics but mega gig. Therapy? Are consistently good, unfortunately the sound mix wasn't ideal at the start but soon sorted. Loved hearing Troublegum in full plus some of the other old classics Potato Junkie, Teethgrind...

Re: Voge
I deliver into a place that sells the CF Moto quads. The farmers are buying them as fast as they can get them because they're cheaper than Hondas and are just as good. I was talking to a dealer on Thursday and he was saying that he can’t get them (the 900s) quick enough, he has a waiting list. Thes...

Re: Waking Godzilla: 1216cc Suzuki GSX-R Turbo
Reminds me of the one a bike mag built back in the day. The had Jamie Whitham test it and the thing went sideways more than forward. Steve Burns' Monster, in PB magazine. Seem to recall having a video of that too. https://powersport.motul.com/upload/ck_upload/u439/0a87b350c3486b764bba18b39cf9970a.j...

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
Only a quick 30 mile round trip to meet the Mrs for lunch in St Evenage where she works. Parked at Bikestop, actually Stevenage old town is nice, it's the rest of it that's a shithole. Not the best of rides down the 602 but 13th Nov I'll take it :obscene-drinkingcheers: Bike is a bit (very) minging ...
