Plod got in touch with BMW UK with colour and spec, there were only around a dozen in UK and one was local to the Camera incdents. Guy got proper fucked o...

Re: The 10+ year KX500 rebuild thread

Looks Ace Mr Badger. have you tried swapping the HT leads over? Its a common mistake. That and the cam timing.
If its not that, it could be that you've installed the wrong power band.

Re: Would you buy a used MV Agusta?

I wouldn't hesitate, I was considering an 899 Pani for the Portimao track extravaganza, but also an MV 800 F3. I might still go for an MV for summer fun. I think I'd want to park it in my study though :)

Re: Harley-Davidson turn the adventure bike market on its head with the new Pan America

I think its interesting looking. I'm sure all the guys with a collection of Harley's and a BMW for riding "fire Roads" will be really interested. For the rest of us, 150bhp must surely get your attention? Same weight as a 1250 GSA with 15bhp more... It might save Harley in the short term a...

Re: FUEL RALLY RAID JACKET WHITE

" Tough outer layer of canvas Cordura® Dupont Kevlar® panels on all abrasion/impact area CE certified " Shame that, after telling us how wonderful the fabric is, they omitted which CE rating it has. Truth is, most people read "CE" then switch off. But I think you knew that anywa...

Re: CHRISTIAN KLEIN’S DUCATI 350

It bares no resemblance to a 350 Ducati so seems like a waste of a lovely engine. I quite like the look but it would look just as nice or better with air-cooled Jap single in it. If the idea was to show off the lump, he got it wrong IMO. Like deftrap says though, nice skils and finish

Re: Restomods - what would you have built?

Like sticking a V8 in your Morris Minor? I know a guy (vaguely) who did that...Nick Mann. I knew him through his day job building MRI parts, he is the most gentle mannered man you'll ever meet and he giggles at the word "titmouse". But he also used to have a twin turbo V8 Morris Minor wit...
