I'm down 3kgs on my weight now. I've not run every day at the moment ...

Re: Friday thread, mid July
Friday was Year Six leavers service at the church. Not a dry eye in the congregation. Then off to another quote for solar and ASHP for the church hall. Followed by yet another meeting. Then taking daughter to the autism specialist, she had to smell various scents and try to identify them etc.... not ...

A very dear friend of mine has been given a “life limiting” cancer diagnosis, in other words he will die within 3 years. I am so sad and still have to ensure he is loved, cared for and appreciated .

Re: Healthy Living
I do variable resistance and I eat very healthy food, mostly cooked from scratch. Very little sugars in my diet. I'm inclined to diabetes at my age/genetic disposition and am so careful about what I eat. I did have 1/2 a bottle of Bishop's Finger this evening, but I drink sparingly and seldom ...

Re: Healthy Living
Still alive, still running, not really losing much weight at the moment, averaging about 20-25 minutes on the cross trainer. Not moved onto other exercises yet, but am sleeping better and moving a bit better. I have more stamina for the day, but often feel like I need at nap at around 3pm (I am up ...

Re: Bathrooms, towels, how often ?
Weekly in summer as it dries out in the day. More often winter as it does not dry out properly.
If at the hotel, then every two days as ask for a fresh towel if there for longer that two nights stay.

Re: Depression
She managed to cope with most of the day 10.30 to 2pm. Closed up at just after 3pm. She sold quite a few items and was asked to think about illustrating a children's fairy story book. Needless to say she is now exhausted and wiped out by the experience, but there are some positive thoughts about how ...

We have a big step in the right direction. My daughter has decided to display her art at a Community Gathering hosted by my church. A small local thing, but a huge step for her. She is actually excited about putting her art out for people to see. She has done various lino prints and drawings ...

Re: Best meal you've ever had ?
Best meal was in a small hotel in Jaipur, Pearl Palace Hotel. Black bean lentil curry with freshly baked chapatti and Limka. £3.50 for the meal and drink, it was absolutely stunning with incredible spices/flavour, fresh and just so satisfying in its beautiful simplicity.

I've been diagnosed with axiol spondyloarthritis in my spine and hips. Have been prescribed some exotic drug at 90mg a day for the rest of my life. At the moment I am 6ft5, weigh in at 121kgs, have a heart rate of 130/80, a pulse rate of around 60/m and no cholesterol issues. So my BMI is way high ...

My daughter is still struggling, changes to medication have helped a touch, but keeping the prescriptions in order is a difficulty. We have a good pharmacist, so that helps a great deal.
