Can't it be both?
But yeah it looks well fake. Windows are all shut and IME the cabin crew make a point of opening them on the ground, no-one else reacts, there's nothing else in the overhead locker when it's opened, flight attendant is wearing flip flops...

Re: Would you have an electric car if you had the money for a new car and were in the market for one?
My parents have done >10k in their electric Mini now with just 3 pins. If you're not doing a 200 mile round trip commute every day it'll be fine.
Good to hear. Bearing in mind I only did just over 4k miles in my last car in 2.5 years, I cant see the charger cost being justified and if I did ...

Finally motivated to get it out of the van as I need to pick up some furniture for my daughter. Took it for a run up the road and I can't see that there's anything wrong with the gearbox. Rides like a bloody lump though, don't feel bad at all splitting it for parts.
The fitting kit ...

You should have put it down for driving ;)
Was it a cheapo po-top or an expensive one ?
I'm expecting more noise anyway if i lose bulkhead than the current van. (Which isn't exactly silent)
IMO the kitted out T4 with pop top was significantly louder than my LWB HT sprinter with no ...

Re: B&D Workmate - alternatives?
The new ones are pretty shoddily built though - I keep looking at them and they seem to be mostly plastic and where they "are" metal it's been thinned down to nigh on a foil.
Keep an eye on ebay for an original.

Dreams, the bed company.
We were up at Decathlon in Oxford yesterday so next door was Dreams. Popped in to get a pillow, mine is old and a little flatter than when it was new. It was expensive at about £75 at the time but i like it...
Ended up with a Seally for £55... Fair shout, not bad ...

Re: Motorbike "club" dilemma question?
What I have learned from a lot of "bikers" is that a lot of people are users.
It's not just bikers, lots of groups are like that. Usually there's a group of old mates who see fresh blood arriving and start pondering what jobs they can dump on you while you're still keen.
Then you ...
