How was it ? I've not had tea for 40+ years.
Good, in fact, I'm on my 2nd one. Just wanted to cut down on coffee, making too many cups per day working from home.

Yorkshire Tea by the way ;)

Re: BTL house - BLT mortgage or regular?

IMO the whole rental area is due for a massive shakeup. In my area many BTL places are holiday lets. Last year was bad, this year is looking no better so far, will it pick up again? Who knows, but a BTL on a mortgage with zero income is a major millstone around some people's necks, and if it doesn'...

Re: Insignificant Things That Make You Happy.

Just watched the Man Utd v Liverpool and as usual my fellow Utd fan in Cornwall was keeping me amused on Watsapp.

Until I realised I was a full minute behind and he commented the goals before I saw them.
I had to tell him to shut up :D

Re: The iconic superbike : Yamaha YZF-R1

It's hardly a secret that more valves equals more power. Also that a 2 stroke makes shit loads more power than a 4 stroke. So Honda excelled themselves with 8 valves per cylinder and almost matched the 500 2 strokes for power :) The NR500, didn't Rob Haslam get lapped on it? His cousin, Ron :)

Re: Portimao 29-31 May 2021. RTTL Extravaganza

One of our lot had an idea today. Only I am riding here, but a few coming to watch and start our summer holiday from there.

Lee just noticed that the Catalan MotoGP is the week after, so the plan is to head that way.
And one of the lads has a place in Barcelona and he's making the right noises :)

It's Portimao that's my thoughts as you can imagine. Be great if the UK does well with vaccination, but sod all use to me if Portugal is a shit show along with south America as we won't be allowed to fly there There may be an additional consideration, even if you are allowed within the regulations t...

Re: The iconic superbike : Yamaha YZF-R1

Tbf the 5vy was bonkers everywhere. All through the range. It was just a bit more bonkers at the top end. Press raved about the GSX-R1000 and the 5VY seemed to take 2nd best but having owned both at the time the 5VY won me over. I ended up doing more miles on track than road with it in the end and ...
