Re: Find me a van then...

Mine is swb. I don't fancy a hammock in the slightest Shame, they're incredibly comfortable. If it's a swb then getting a pop up roof with a double bed would solve the problem without any loss of space. Can be claustrophobic though. Yeah a pop top and heating would resolve most issues in truth. I'd...

I can't remember what yours is but if it's a lwb then hammocks would work well without a major conversion or losing any space in the van. Mine is swb. Re: Yamaha MT-09 SP

i thought the front end/handling on the MT07 was awesome.. i never kept it THAT long but i used it at Donington etc without issues. As most probably gather I dont exactly push a bike, but every turn in, no matter what the speed, I felt like it was sort of floating? It never slid but I always felt I...

Re: Another pick your brains - ZX9R E2

Off to see it on Friday and agreed a decent price. Pretty excited to be honest, finding stuff like this in the classified is way better than signing on the dotted line on a new bike. Can always sell it in the spring if I don't like it.

Re: Another pick your brains - ZX9R E2

It belongs to the guy who does the paint for the dealer and the dealer has it in the showroom for a favour. The owner has given up motorcycling due to she is my understanding.

I’ve no idea why it’s taxed.

Re: Another pick your brains - ZX9R E2

Interesting MOT history, done similar milage every year to my hoard of unused bikes. I like the fail for having the front tyre fitted the wrong way. It's odd that it's was taxed for a year last month, just to sit at dealers? Lol, I saw the warning for the front tyre too. I did the same on my vfr bu...

Re: Another pick your brains - ZX9R E2

I’m off to see it on Friday. If it’s in good condition I’ll buy it. I’m not worried about small differences between models to be honest. It’s 3 grand bike after all 😂

Maybe but that's ok. Better to try these things out to see if they fit :)

Re: Another pick your brains - ZX9R E2

I used to have a 929 and had it for 8 years. I know the 954 is better but it's not an interesting bike for me. Good bikes but it wouldn't be a novelty at all.

Re: Another pick your brains - ZX9R E2

Seems a bit rich to me. If you didn't like it you'd struggle to punt it on for much over £2k, imho. The dealer is probably hoping to attract someone who used to have one 20 years ago and wants to relive their youth. Completely agree. I think that the dealer would probably say "yeah, but find a...

Re: Another pick your brains - ZX9R E2

The question comes about because there's a 1 owner E2 locally to me with 16k on it in mint condition with fsh and the original can and I'm tempted just to buy it... unless you all tell me that model is a shitter :)

Another pick your brains - ZX9R E2

I love an old kawasaki but haven't had many of them. Can anyone recall what the E2 version of the ZX9R was like? Always loved the look but I know they're not cutting edge nor anywhere close to it these days. Did they make good back road bikes despite the weight? I read that they were more comfortabl...

Re: Yamaha MT-09 SP

@dern It's a fun bike on b-roads. Engine is the highlight really. Handling is fine, but most complain of a vague front end. I have lower risers to help a little. Mine is a 2022, the new one is better in that regard, but I assume you are looking used? I have a gen 3, the generations before have an e...

Yamaha MT-09 SP

Going to be replacing the RE 650GT in the spring or sooner. I liked it but it's too slow and I can't be arsed to clean it. I want a sports naked again. Really like the 1000 v4 tuono, really didn't like the 1290 SD.

Does anyone have an mt-09 sp? Do you like it? Is it run to ride on b-roads?

Thanks
