"Already noticed" :hmmm: Self service checkouts have been a thing for nearly 20 years now! Not in our Tesco they are not. 18-24 month at most. Local Aldi have introduced them also. No one on the tills in the evenings they were hoeing for but the queues were so long they had to put someone...

They already have the staff and cant always cope with demand. I refuse to use self service tills in the supermarket as they are clearly taking jobs. Sp...

If you don't take your glasses back to the bar, or your plates back to the serving window in a greasy spoon cafe then you're a lout. It's a good way to get excellent service the next time you're in. Dont know where my post went as i answered this. :( I always take the glass back when in a pub. Only...

Re: The Official Pleasing Purchase Thread

My Campervan has the worse Sony cd/radio in i've evr come across. “Of course I wont laugh” said the nurse “im a professional. In over twenty years ive never laughed at a patent.” “OK then,” said bob and he proceeded to drop his trousers revealing the smallest willy the nurse had ever seen. In length and width it was almost identical to a AAA battery. Unable to con...

If its a jar of say sauce and you are going to use it all just stab the lid. You could just but a bunch of various size silicon lids and stab them all.

Re: Home aids for the less able!!

Buy a jar opener on Amazon, or buy a few different ones on Aliexpress for the same price. I find the metal ones with the serated lid grip will damage the lid, I currently use a silicon one which is fine. I don't have strength issues though, my hands are fucked up with dupuytren's contracture and I ...

Want you want is a she-wee, or a strapping bloke who can 'just let me loosen that for you' If me and her ever have a proper row, I go around tightening all the jar lids, just so she has to ask me to open it for her.
