Re: Insignificant/ Significant things that BYP or just wind you up a little

<Sigh>. Car vandalised overnight. My assumption but quite likely. Big impact to OS upper windscreen, not repairable, plus a windcreen wiper has gone missing and the arm is twisted. Happened sometime between my missus using it yesterday afternoon and 10a:m this morning. Les dibbles came round pdq an...

Re: In your working life

Sitting spraffing shite in a quiet bar with a mate. Next table a boy sits down and starts chatting as we were on about an up and coming old firm match. Conversation got onto music and this lonely scruff started to tell us about a record deal he just signed. Usual shite went though our heads about &q...

Re: Seat cover repair

My mate recovered his own with some material off ebay. Did a decent job. Just a staple gun job init. They used to be anyway. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I reckon I'd make a complete hash of it, especially as it's an awkward shape. You could be the forum Guinea pig and try this :P https://www.yorktism.co.uk/products/leat...

I need to try a mug handle before i buy it. Some tip easily when you use the handle so they are a non starter right away. Cheap mass produced shite you get in a supermarket tend to be the right shame. Present mug is a Rolling Stones one out Primark.

Re: It’s damned cold here innit ?!!

I'm pretty sure it is. Most of my work has been shuttering concrete but not much is kneeling down. Got a mate a few years back was doing labouring for a guy cash in hand. Big slabbing job and he was kneeling in the cement a lot during the day. Slowly that night his skin was burning and ended up in ...
