WTF is he messaging me 😡😡😡
I hope you told HIM that!

Whenever someone used to give me grief re: shit that had nothing to do with me, I'd get my wallet out, or look in my jacket pocket for a fuck to give, and quite often tell them so. Fairly soon, people stopped doing it.

Re: Inconsequential ramblings of an Old Git

2 things may help, and they're related. Adjust the chain to give more wheelbase or fit -1 sprocket, and fix that tight gold link! First time spannering in IoM, rider comes in after EMP moaning that the bike is a bit loose at the back. Had a quick look and there was a gouge all around the tyre centre...

Re: VisorDown. Who was on it?

I was on VD but mainly the supermoto forum. I joined......A long long time ago. I phoned Veggie Dave to order a DVD and he told me about the VD SM forum and the White Hart meet ups and I joined off the back of that. I used to live a couple of villages along from Puckeridge and used to attend the mo...

Re: Insignificant/ Significant things that BYP or just wind you up a little

Our stopcock is in the front garden. They are about a meter down and we have a long iron handle/key thing to turn it off. But the hole its in is full of mud that has seeped in over the years (1930s built bungalow) and everyone else in the street that has tried has had a disaster as they always brea...

Re: Insignificant/ Significant things that BYP or just wind you up a little

People who hide stopcocks! Just spent the last hour and a bit searching for the SC for the daughter's yard. We found one that did nothing, 3 waterboard valves, no effect on the leak. Got to speak to the guy who moved it 10 years ago, and he gave me a vague 'I'm pretty sure it's in the border'. Start...

Re: Insignificant Things That Make You Happy.

Saab went straight through the test today, nice man even turned a blind eye to the EML ( message on the dash readout told him it was gearbox related). I was more concerned about the chunk of rear tyre SWMBO had removed from the sidewall, but that just got an advisory. New tyres being fitted now, her...

Never have i seen so many vehicles going nowhere!
Ulez my arse! With the amount of stop start traffic I passed, I can only assume Shere Khan will be extending the CC to Fulham and Hammersmith due to increased smog levels.

Temps

Was out and about today on the xsr, and coming back to chez d I thought 'oooh, feels a bit fresh', so I thought I'd check the air temp, 0c. Now if I'd been in a car, the dash would have been flashing ice crystals or wiggly lines and the mirrors would have snow flakes etc. Is it bike manufacturers do...

Fuel pipe unclipped itself!

Yammie has a positive engagement QR clip on the fuel line from the tank. Last time I took the tank off was Sept/Oct to fit the brake pipes. Done a good few hundred miles since then, but t'other day I was going out for a bimble and the bike stopped after 100yds and fuel was peeing down the side of th...
