Re: Insignificant Things That Make You Happy.

Another day of racing Mermaids (they're a type of boat!) at Seaview Yacht Club on the Isle of Wight. It's a corporate day out that my company did for 17 years and I've been a guest of (and was on this occasion) at least another dozen times but it never fails to deliver. Great mix of guests - some ol...

Re: Helmet - alternatives to Arai

Another HJC convert after many RX7 Arai’s. Better fit and quieter. (RPHA-11.) Wish I switched ages ago but too much of a helmet snob!!! Are they sized similar to Arai. Is a medium in HJC same as an Arai medium? Certainly came up the same size for me. Did for my son. L was the same size/fit in both.

Re: Helmet - alternatives to Arai

My son, who is an Arai shaped head, moved onto HJC. He's always said that his current HJC (bought from J&S in a sale) is lighter, quieter and far nicer to use than his Arai. Being a Shoei head I can't comment! (Went from Suomy, who I really like, to Shoei when Suomy distro was shit in the UK - i...

Re: Miller goes Orange!

Miller has never been a title contender and has had his chance in MotoGP. I'm NOT a fan of his because he's an arsehole* - regardless of what the media try and make him out to be. You so nearly wrote my post for me. I've corrected it. Let's be honest, it's Red Bull money that's keeping him on the g...

🤣🤣 No. I’ve never understood people saying that. Even crit racing I used to run 25’s at 60-75. These tubeless 700x32 Gp5k’s have a MAX pressure of 72psi for safety reasons. I honestly think I could run 35psi and not suffer detrimental performance. The research is quite clear, go even a couple of ps...

Re: YOUNG GUN, OLD METAL: A BMW K100 LT FROM A RISING STAR

It's the perfect example of how to overstyle something. The Harley engined thing on the other thread shows how less is more - which is ironic as this has less but it's all shit. It all goes wrong from the right of this........ https://kickstart.bikeexif.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/bmw-k100-lt-199...

That's the point of it, you have to make a race engine capable of lasting 24 hours of race use, at Le Mans lap times were similar to MotoGP (according to the Eurosport conpetitors). Le Mans 24 Hour car race next weekend. Both you and the Eurosport commentators need to take a moment - the MotoGP boy...

Re: CATTTTTTTalunya...... MotoGP weekend is once again upon us.

Last but very definitely not least was a great MotoGP race - if you forget Fab proving that he's now joining the ranks of the aliens. Wasn't much of a race though, until Spag went bonkers, i was almost asleep. It had enough going on throughout the field. Him and Martin, Binder and Oliveira - first ...

Re: CATTTTTTTalunya...... MotoGP weekend is once again upon us.

What a great weekend of racing. Moto 3 had yet another 16 year old at the sharp end, the Brits doing fine and the usual incredible racing - including some big gaps closed after the first big crash. It was easily the best Moto 2 race of the season - usually so processional but plenty of stuff going o...

Re: CATTTTTTTalunya...... MotoGP weekend is once again upon us.

Morbidelli and Vinales surprising :) So pleased to see Frankie up there. There's a lot of chat about the lack of grip and that it will be the riders who keep their wheels in line that will go well - and that's very much the style of those two. Interesting to see Yamaha not changing tyres either but...

Aside from Miller,I can't see any of those bothering the podium this year.

1 Miguel Oliveira
2 Johann Zarco
3 Jack Miller
4 Joan Mir
Don't forget that 2nd to 4th were all promoted places because of Fab finishing with his leathers unzipped and no chest protector in.

I've not had a teenager before.... plus, none of the other 5 crazy teenagers even considered doing it. I was talking about the moaning, not the gap jump!
