Re: Taking the front wheel off an old Giant
15mm axle From the picture , I couldn't make it out. The hex head has rounded off ? If so there should be a hex head on the other side that you can use. However as it looks as though it has been left a long time, I would spray a lot of plus-gas or GT-85 around it first. If it wasn't Docca we were t...

Re: Taking the front wheel off an old Giant
Oh well lol
I wonder if it’s possible to use the quick release from another bike and have at it?

Taking the front wheel off an old Giant
https://i.ibb.co/cDcF70m/IMG-0866.jpg https://i.ibb.co/QmxwQFv/IMG-0867.jpg Hello! Finally got round to tidying the garage. Don’t want to get rid of the Giant I’ve had for years. Went to try and get the front wheel off to put a new inner tube on- but unless I’m being super thick- I can’t see how to...

Re: Vote!
I believe if the Tories oust Sunak and put Braverman at the helm they'd win the election! I can't stand her, to the point that it blinkers me to anything she has to say, so I'd be unable to vote without that emotion overwhelming my choice. 100% agree. Also, this I think it’s discrattionary nonsense...

Re: Vote!
To be clear- I’m also a fan of Rory Stewart and absolutely, not all political figurines are bastards- the party doesn’t chime with my own values though.

Re: Vote!
Interestingly, whilst not a predictor of success- this forum and its predecessors have been overwhelmingly in support of the Tories when these polls come up. It’s not the Labour lead that surprises me- but the swing from blue. I’ve changed party allegiance during my lifetime. That’s the gift of info...

Re: Vote!
https://www.radioexe.co.uk/news-and-features/local-politics/cornwalls-brexit-replacement-cash-runs-out/ I’m sure someone will provide some benefit from Brexit. C’mon-speak up! I’ll vote tactically. I don’t care for Starmer at all and TBH Labour are only marginally better than the Tories, but this cu...

It’s a decent summary. I think the tide of support for Israel is turning.

Re: In todays news...
I disagree entirely with the Zionist land-grab of the state of Israel. What would you like to see done about that? It’s too late, Jacky. There is a good graphic somewhere showing the gradual reduction in the size of Palenstine - I would have preferred for that not to have progressed Although throug...

Re: In todays news...
Just catching up: - I think constraint is key. We’ve already had established that even direct reports from mates who are journalists re: baby beheadings are not true. -I do believe Hamas attacked Israel. I’m not sighted on the extent of the attacks. -I am not pro-Hamas nor am I making a play for ter...

Re: In todays news...
Please specify what evidence would satisfy you that atrocities have been committed? Please specify what amount of evidence you’d need to validate a retaliatory response that is going to murder thousands of innocent people? Answering a question with a question speaks for itself. It was a challenge t...

Re: In todays news...
Has the baby-cutting been validated? Sadly, the atrocities by Hamas are real. I know well one of the journalists who is out there and has seen things first-hand. So, not validated then? With respect What I find interesting is that in an age where every single atrocity will have someone filming , ev...

Re: In todays news...
So what is Israel going to do in Northern Gaza after (presumably) civilians have evacuated to the south? What do you think was Hamas’s game plan? Hamas deliberately caused maximum horror, such as live-streaming atrocities and cutting babies’ throats. Hamas knew Israel would react with angry force. ...

Re: Robot Vacuums and Mops
You can set mine to go over the same room again and it runs against its previous map. So if it was left to right, it does ip and down, leaving lovely squares on the carpet
Utterly pointless

Re: Robot Vacuums and Mops
Ours is still fab. I ordered a replacement set of mop and brush stuff but haven’t needed it yet. That it can lift its mop up when it comes to carpet is ace. I’m still a fan of dropping in on the camera and watching it on its journey. Caught one of my dogs trying to sneak food off the table a few wee...

Re: Depression
The perception of self-worth plays an important hand in the dealing with/recovering from work related stress/depression. The challenge many of us will go through is the normalisation of poor workplace cultures. There is a boiling frogs comment to make here- but the importance of your personal integr...
