Re: Best OBD reader?
Autel AP200 Std 16 pin reader, comes with a free download for 1 vehicle, other vehicles are $21. Apparently it's all auto data/snapon cloned software......who sued them! Gives live read outs of everything you need. Got one for my MB sprinter, brilliant bit of kit. This. For the money it is ace. Che...

Re: Does bump starting damage anything?
You could argue it won't do a dmf any favours. But a fairly small engine like that the reverse torque isn't going to do much, and because it's a honda they will have tested the crap out of it. Don't drop it into gear when you are moving maybe you will be fine.

Re: Morris Minor Clutch- help
When the clutch is worn the release force is higher as that's how the weird springs work. If it's cable, change it immediately. If not have the box off for a new clutch and release bearing clean the crap out of the splines and use the correct type and amount of lube in the splines. Have the pedal bo...

You reckon in the old days people would shoot the incoming pigeon in case it was someone trying to sell you a new sundial or something?

I love my neoprene aigles.
Do not get anything with zips or anything like that they will shit themselves. I heard chameau are now made in china, which if true is a tragedy as they are were the best. Hunters are dogshite.
Muck boots are supposed to be ok.
Nice wellies ain't cheap

I got a big chain and lock off him for my ebike. I wasn't really thinking what 19mm chain meant. But obviously it's the wire diameter, I can barely lift the bloody thing. And the lock is immense and the ground anchor ain't never moving. It's a real shame and I didn't realise they made stuff in the UK.

Re: Who Will You Vote For?
Yes everyone was certain that Brexit wouldn't happen in a similar fashion to trump wasn't going to win. I do worry what labour will get up to in 5 years, Kier has promised no tax rises but he is a politician so we shall see. I can't see him getting in and making everyone better off. Seems all this e...

Re: Who Will You Vote For?
Well going on the previous logic of what people said v what actually happened, maybe labour gets in and labour has a left wing takeover and drag out one of magic granddad's acolytes, and Nigel wins the next one. I think that's his strategy anyway. I think the last few governments have gone on a long...

Re: Who Will You Vote For?

And the Tories are still there. And then when the stupid grandad was about to b...

Re: Hobby lathe advice
Fair enough. Either get a brand new Chinese one and take it apart and fix it, or get a really old one that's worn out and take it apart and fix it. Anything old and decent will probably be best part fucked. I'd get a Chinese one. Get dro, get some quality digi calipers. Get some pukka insert turning...
