Re: Job stuff and taxation things.

So to be a higher rate taxpayer you need to have (taxable) earnings over £50,270 in a tax year, I.e. 6 April to 5 April. If you've earned over that already then hat's off to you and any more work will be taxed at 40%. If not, you will be paying tax at 40% once you have full tax year taxable earnings ...

Re: Pregablin - experiences

I've been on it for a long while, for nearly 15 years, as an anti-anxiety, 75mg morning and evening.

I had problems when I accidentally doubled my dose because the GP changed pill size without warning me, noticing when I was driving in Basingstoke and all of a sudden I had no idea where I was ...

Re: House buying complications, regularisation and building regs etc.

Get in touch with the local building regulations office about getting a retrospective survey done and certificate issued, some of them are actually really helpful (fingers crossed they're one of them).
Probably worth getting the level three survey done not only for peace of mind but also ...

Don't buy without building regs certificate. Fix it or walk away. If they don't want to fix it, they won't be selling the house anytime soon.

No building regs certificate could mean anything from simple and cheap problem to fundamental foundation issues requiring compete rebuild. Would you deposit ...
