I watched the game on a big screen on the local park with a couple of hundred Spanish peeps. An excellent atmosphere and well done Spain. Brit bar tonight.

It seems that I have acclimatised to the heat here now. Been 33°c to 39°c during the day this week, not uncomfortable when riding in armoured jeans, mesh jacket and mesh backed gloves.


I went to Col de Rates with a friend yesterday, I've ordered a mesh seat cover, that was a very sweaty ride ...

I spent a week in Andorra riding off road around the Spanish side. An excellent holiday but 25 years ago, it might have changed since then.

One thing that has been a game changer for me was one of those mesh seat covers. I wasn't convinced so bought a cheapy one off a chinese marketplace for a few quid. The airflow you get under your thighs is very cooling and if it rains it allows the water to drain away off the seat better. It is ...
