Re: World Cup
I watched the game on a big screen on the local park with a couple of hundred Spanish peeps. An excellent atmosphere and well done Spain. Brit bar tonight.

I prefer a tailgate to barn doors, it's somewhere dry to stand when it's raining.

Don't forget it's all new next year. 850cc (50 less horsepower), no ride height devices, lots less aero, Pirelli tyres.Noggin wrote: Mon Jul 13, 2026 7:19 am However, kinda sad he looks to be heading to Yamaha next year - it was a championship killing move for Quatararo

Re: Surviving the heat
I only ever wear shorts, t-shirt, riding trainers if I'm popping into town, I like reading the holier than thou facebook posts that pop up in the local town group
The problem I have with riding in trainers is that once, a long time ago, the laces on mine got tangled around the gear lever. I ...

Re: Surviving the heat
It seems that I have acclimatised to the heat here now. Been 33°c to 39°c during the day this week, not uncomfortable when riding in armoured jeans, mesh jacket and mesh backed gloves.
I went to Col de Rates with a friend yesterday, I've ordered a mesh seat cover, that was a very sweaty ride ...

Re: The Pyrenees/Northern Spain
I spent a week in Andorra riding off road around the Spanish side. An excellent holiday but 25 years ago, it might have changed since then.

Re: The Official Pleasing Purchase Thread
One thing that has been a game changer for me was one of those mesh seat covers. I wasn't convinced so bought a cheapy one off a chinese marketplace for a few quid. The airflow you get under your thighs is very cooling and if it rains it allows the water to drain away off the seat better. It is ...

All the match officials for the France v Morocco game are Argentinian. Is this unusual?

The only journeys you'll be making in a Jag are to and from the workshop.

It's a big pile of bills before you go back to a Tesla.

Re: The Pyrenees/Northern Spain
Pay attention to the weather alerts. If you head east from Santander you're heading straight into weather warnings for extreme heat. It's going to cool slightly over the weekend then get hot again next week. I don't think heading into France will save you either. West along the coast looks like a ...
