Re: Legalizing Marijuana and Road Safety: Time for a New Perspective?

You drive loads slower when you're high, someone told me once. For wisdom teeth extraction, I was dosed with Valium. Knew what was happening, totally didn't care. But people drive while on it (admittedly lower doses). I’m the same with codeine, never take it now if I’m driving after a reckless over...

Re: interesting bikes found randomly..

The outright lap record at Cadwell was held by a 250 Superkart for many years. Dunno what the lap records are like for Legends cars but having watched them race at Brands Hatch they're not too shabby either. They look like Elliot Ness cars until you get up close and realise they're 5/8 scale. Bike ...

The personal touch goes far. I miss the days of having a watchful security guard, especially since my Capo has been nicked again. :( Again! :x Yup, last Thursday from the West End. Had an Abus U lock through the front wheel which they threw in the skip - homeless person raiding the skip fou...

Don't let HR hear you say that.
He loves me too,

I can’t wait to get the transcript, it was comedy gold apart from one serious allegation dark, that prim HR bod is going to have to say cunt in front of about a dozen of us.

I wonder what the reason is. There is no mention of the religion of peace in the article so it's obviously not that.

Well the Black Widow has gone and I’ve put the original can that came with it on ready for the youngest to take his test…..again, in a couple weeks time. Went on without hassle apart from having to carefully grind off the tack welds holding the hanger strap in place on the silencer……wtf https://i.ib...

Bluesky will end up enshitified like all the other platforms.

It’s nice for now not having ads intruding but now all the political commentators and shit stirrers are moving over I can see it heading down the pan rapidly.

I hope they’ve sorted that godawful seat out and a bigger tank would have been nice.

Might have a look when they hit the showroom.

Re: New old bike day

Changed all 4 plug caps as they are known to go a bit flakey with age.

Fair bit of corrosion on the springs inside the old ones and the tiny spacer has disintegrated in 2 of them.

Re: BMW K100 starter motor won’t stop turning

New relay arrived yesterday and it fired up this morning but the old battery is definitely knackered and it also needs a new earth cable to replace the skinny BMW item.

So I’ll lay the bike up for now, spent enough on parts this month already, it wasn’t getting ridden enough anyway.
