We've used More Than who are so so for claims, they do have to chased for payouts. Mainly have it for dickhead young dog doing something stupid and hurting themselves bills. Only had one claim bounced and that was me not reading small print. Wouldn't use Pet Plan again as after Drax had a lump lance...

Turned bits of railway off and back on again last night, did some HV switching which as it involves one of our adjacent control rooms means the feeding model cannot cope with what were doing and the system either looks like we're in parallel with two separate DNO supplies when we're not or that we'r...

Re: Water meter over reading?
What Horse said. Turn off the stop cock in the house and see if the water meter in the street stops spinning/reading. Might need to do it whilst you're out for the day. If you get an increase that'll be the pipe to the house leaking but if that shows no flow then turn stop cock back on with all taps...

Been another year of huge progress, well done to all the team. On top of all his achievements he's still a genuinely nice bloke, a tribute to his parents down to earth parenting skills  LOL don't look at me... i'm just pit-crew, parenting comes from Mrs Weeksy :) I'm the irresponsible adul...

Possibly comparing apples with eggs, so what are peoples thoughts on this scenario then (as it’s rattled round my head a few times). I arrive at a pub car park, just been at “telephone numbers” on the dual carriage way to get the pub as I’m running late. I pull up get off, the exhaust pipe is except...

I should really have shares in Immodium 😂 Do you find there are any side effects from long term immodium / loperamide use? I've been trying to work out what the problem is for 3 years, the NHS has done some tests but reached no conclusions (apart from trying to give statins every time FFS). I'm not...

I had 30 years of the NHS saying "its IBS, live with it" before I self diagnosed gluten intolerance + A1 milk protein intolerance (I was so happy to find A2 milk and then the bastards stopped selling it🤬). The weeks of my life I've lost on the toilet because of this.......... I am also on ...

Unexpected day off as yesterday’s project work threw the software boys a very nasty curve ball so I’ve been stood down whilst they pick through the software rubble to see what went wrong and why. I’ll start on my tool box table as all the bits have arrived and may try mowing the lawn if it’s dried o...
