Living in a city or just visiting one for pleasure.
I can’t for the life of me see why anyone would choose to be closely surrounded by hoards of other people. I tolerate it on my occasional visit to Twickenhan, other than that I stay well clear.

I have a standard plate, and standard exhaust as the noise just gets right on my nerves, but the superduke sounds good as standard.
I use a blue tint iridium visor, not particularly dark but takes the glare off things

Geoff Capes. Someone I didn't need Google to find out who he was. We lived next door but one to Geoff and his family in the 80’s. Still see his kids Lewis and Emma about as they are similar ages to myself It’s going to take some strong men to carry his coffin - he was a big lump last time I saw him

Growing gourmet mushrooms on a medium scale? I know Clarkson failed but I don't think he was really trying. I know a lad that does this, he was selling them on one of the markets we work. He supplies some local restaurants too. He recently got into supplying a couple of nice farm shops which are ta...

I really enjoy the olympics and will watch whatever sport is being shown when I’m sitting down in the living room. The gf is the same, so it will be on whenever we usually watch tv.

Re: Most important subject of the day: Recommend me some wellies
As a horsey family (currently have 16 of the expensive twats), we use wellies a lot. The Mrs and kids all have le chameau wellies, they’re expensive but last a couple of years of being used pretty much everyday and all day in winter, they’re warm and comfortable. I have a pair of Barber wellies, by ...

Planning law has been updated (as of yesterday) to make it simpler/easier for farmers to convert property on their land into shops/restaurants/other. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/planning-red-tape-slashed-for-farmers The government site obviously won't name it thus, but lots of news outlets a...

Re: Rats
We have chickens and live out in the open, rats are always about.
I use the wax blocks of poison, they have a hole through them, I then screw them to a length of wood so can remove them and they can’t be moved by the rats to somewhere the dogs or chickens may get them

Re: Stones in horse's hooves
As said above, they are generally for picking out mud and inevitably their own crap. They’re not carried while out riding, generally the feet are picked out before riding. I think we have 13 horses at the moment, I think 5 are shod for road use or with tapped holes for screwing in studs for competin...

I’ve been looking for new leathers for trackdays as mine seem to have shrunken around the middle over winter.

As I said before, my daughter is a tattoo artist. All my tattoos have been done by her, I proudly have the first tattoo she ever did on human skin, she regularly does some work on me to try new techniques, we have a session once a month just as our time, music on and have a good chat and laugh. I do...

My daughter is a tattoo artist, she met Kat von D from that programme at a convention, the prices she charges are astronomical and is booked solid for a very long time.

I’d also not even give the slightest bit of consideration to employing relatives, I won’t even have my parents in the window cleaning rounds.

I think a cafe would be a right pain in the arse with food safety regs, we deal with councils just as non-food market traders, they are useless pains in the arse. There’s big money in flowers and plants, maybe a small local garden centre style shop? You’d need to be doing local deliveries and funera...

As much as the thought of winning a Ferrari, Lamborghini or whatever supercar is great, in reality you’re only one problem away from a repair bill that would break you.
I would just have to sell it straight away, probably without even driving it.
