I use the rear brake for slow speed manoeuvres, revs up and control speed with rear brake. Basic bike skills. Whilst riding, as you say, going down hill you are better off not putting too much on the front end.

Piaggio X10 350, an aircraft carrier sized maxi scoot. Within a month of owning the battery died, 3 hours to get to the thing. Oil leak that the source just couldn't be found. Valve seals blew and had to have the engine rebuilt. Great storage space under the seat though.

Do I miss it, not really. I now have a '23 plate Xmax 300 which I think is better, better handling, therefore to ride, less power than the C400, but you wouldn't know it.
