Re: Xmas deserts, what say you ?
This could be bollocks, but a colleague said his son worked at M&C and the steaks came frozen and they basically warmed them up.

Re: Small screamer | Four-cylinder Kove 450RR sportsbike to produce 69.7bhp at 13,000rpm
Imo, Japan are already losing the small to mid size bike. India and China are chucking out all shapes and sizes >800cc bikes and there ain't much wrong with them. They have improved massively from 25 years ago. Buying new with 4 year warranty isn't a risk. Road conditions have changed so massive po...

Re: Small screamer | Four-cylinder Kove 450RR sportsbike to produce 69.7bhp at 13,000rpm
The JDM 400's weren't built to make big power, they were built to hit the Japanese license limit bang on at 60bhp. I've heard stories of 90bhp FZR400RR race bikes with ram air. Modern 600's are leaving the factory with almost 120bhp, a new 400 should be making 80bhp with my man maths. I don't know ...

Re: NBD - Roary the Red...
Maybe it's me that's odd, I do 9000 miles a year on a bike and I only ride for fun, I don't commute on a bike, my car is cheaper to run and takes less time if you take into account getting motorcycle gear on and off, it's only 15 minutes in the car.

Re: KTM Troubles
It makes zero sense from either side; KTM's or Lewis's. KTM's ace in the hole is their racing heritage - they're not going to gift that to an outsider with zero experience of running a MotoGP team. And right now Lewis has his hands full with his imminent move to Ferrari. He'll be giving that his un...

Re: Small screamer | Four-cylinder Kove 450RR sportsbike to produce 69.7bhp at 13,000rpm
I had a 30 year old FZR400 that made 60bhp when it left the factory in 1990, so a 2025 450cc bike making 70bhp isn't impressive, but it should be reliable, all of the Japanese 400s I had were.

I'm sure it's lovely, but how does a 10 year old touring bike only have 21000 miles on it?

Whatever is left in Sainsburys at 17:00 on Xmas Eve, but that's the whole of Xmas dinner, I don't need to do this, but it makes Xmas a lot more fun.

Bloody hell, an article that actually says Suzuki rather than Harris designed the XR69 frame, wonders will never cease, something right on the internet.

Re: Tell me about......
There's loads of different engine specs for them, the kickstart only 625 SMC can be a bit fragile, the leccy start 640s seem to be okay, not sure if the 660 was ever sold as road legal bike, the SM race ones were powerful (for 2004) but fragile.

Ignore all that sensible advice, buy the Monte Carlo because it has pretensions of being a rally car.
