Re: Adolesence : Anyone watched it yet?

Episode 3 was good from a cinematic standpoint, one scene. Was well acted. Part 4 went on for ages and got on my tits and I zoned out.

Overall it was OK, not worth the "err mu gurd, it's amaaaaaazing" plaudits it seems to be getting. 5 or 6 out of 10 from me.

Some of our Mint Imperial units still work bestest though. eg mph and psi. Them forrin equivalents, inc the Merkins with their squitty little 'gallons', are rubbish.

Edit: bhp is  too.

Microdiscectomy and interlaminar stabilisation at L4-L5 here. Had drop foot, would have happily chewed my own leg off due to the worst pain imaginable. Apparently, the lower down the leg the symptoms get, the worse the damage is at the nerve site. I wasn't gambling on whether my foot would work ...

I would encourage you not to stray into the realms of fantasy where aliens are using something other than electromagnetic waves. If you do, you might as well "what if" they're using invisible unicorns farting rainbows.

Perhaps they can and have, that's my point. We are at the limit of understanding at this time. Once upon a time the wheel and fire was as good as it got.

Dettol, my Dad used to put some in his bath.
Creosote, caps. One smell that does evoke memories of visiting my Nan on a Sunday is leather, she used to live opposite a tannery. Bloody lovely smell and always got a proper feed at my Nans, whether I wanted feeding or not.

Big bowl, handful of mini choc chip weetabix, fill the rest of the bowl with crunchy nut. Fill with milk. Maybe have a coffee as well.

Re: Alien life, has it ever visited?

What if aliens have bypassed our self-imposed limit of travelling at the speed of light? Just because we can't do it doesn't mean 'they' can't. Perhaps they don't travel in straight lines but can curve time and hop across the two ends of the curve? Why would they come here anyway? If they're that ...

Re: Another pick your brains - ZX9R E2

I had a C2, was a cracking engine but had a single headlight rather than the twin light E model that came after. If the engine is the same then some earlier C versions had a weak 2nd gear but I never had a problem with mine. Likely beefed up for the later bikes anyway. I liked mine so much I stuffed ...

Apart from a bit of pedalling, I'll be reading the manual to the car I've just bought to see what all the buttons do. Why is new/newer stuff so complicated?

More free speech restrictions, just what the world needs. Don't go into that section of you don't want to read it. Seems ridiculous to shut it down. Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?

I actually rode my bike to the dealer for an MOT and service yesterday. Forgotten how much of a faff getting boots, helmet, gloves, jacket on is. In total and the journey was about 4 miles and included a section of dual carriageway. Thing that struck me was how bloody quick the thing is. Christ ...
