Back on the seat

After a few years out (due to my missus banning me!) I am B A C K !!
Bike arrives in two days, my old clothing has been unpacked and taken to the dry cleaners and I have booked up an advanced riding course to get me up to speed-ish.

Both exited and apprehensive but mostly can't sleep properly ...

Best thing I learned on an Advanced course was how to overtake properly. I had never properly thought about it before.
I was simply told to move to the right (on UK roads) a bit, see that it is clear and only when clear, and only then, start to accelerate and make the pass.

Advanced riding recommendations

I did an advanced course a handful of years ago and it was actually probably a life saver and I recommend it to ALL riders.
I will be happy to do one again to brush up on my safer riding (as I am crap) but I would actually like to go for a proper certification as an Advanced Rider, the kind of one ...
